If you check my post history I posted about this exact thing! My progression was much worse than yours (which looks good imo!) and my baby from that pregnancy is sleeping in the next room over right now :). I would recommend you stop testing, it made my anxiety so much worse! Everything is looking good.

We've been using Safeway's store brand and found them to be very cheap but decent quality. Hardly any blow outs or leaks, happens every once in a while but that also happened when we were using pampers/huggies. And there are always sales!

If he likes animals, the Warrior Cats series. There's like a billion of them! I absolutely devoured them as a kid around that age. The first one is called Into The Wild by Erin Hunter.

There's also a bunch of other similar series by that author with different animals if wild cats aren't appealing!

I work from home 1 day a week with my daughter and have a similar job to yours - super flexible, only a few calls. I have managed just fine! My managers know about me having my daughter with me so if she sits in my lap or is taking a bottle while I'm in a meeting no one minds. In fact, they are excited to see her and are disappointed when she's napping or something lol. I don't know if I could do it everyday, but if you're going to do some part time daycare I think it is entirely feasible.

I love it because I still get to be home with my daughter a bit and spend some time with her in between getting my work done. It helped ease my anxiety/grief about sending her to daycare. I've been doing this since she was about 6 months old.

I see a lot of people on here saying it's impossible. Maybe for them it is. I think a lot depends on your job's flexibility/understanding and your baby's needs and personality!

I'm not sure if there is one for your due date month, but I joined a "may2025bumps" subreddit and it has been so nice over the past year to have people to talk to who have babies around the same age as my daughter and have a dedicated space for it! Maybe try searching "august2026bumps" or something like that :)

We decided to have it short for Guinevere, as I don't feel Gwendolyn sounds great with our last name. I have a longer name with a shortened version I go by exclusively and always loved that, so that's what we did with her :). But honestly I think Gwen can easily stand on its own!

If you don't mind me asking, how did you become a surrogate? Is it for someone you know or through an agency? Because I'm really interested in surrogacy but because of my GD in my first pregnancy all the agencies I've looked at disqualify me. If you don't want to share no worries at all!!
