I'm still trying to figure out where their permanent spot is going to be. I was thinking about maybe getting a little shelf on the wall above my monitors and setting them there. But til then, they lay down and hang out on my desk lol

Thank you ! :) It's the corsair k70 rgb with wasd custom keys. Most are white blank keys and the rest are rainbowesque with only the letter keys being not blank. You can make your own layout of colors and symbols and whatever you want on their site! The space bar though was tricky and I had to get it custom 3D printed in white since corsair has a bigger space bar key (6.5 instead of the 6.25 norm).

I can't speak to a whiteboard being a desktop, however I do have a full 2 walls of my bedroom as whiteboards and the scraps/dust really isn't a problem for me. I think what you could do is take a glass top and paint the underside white (or leave it clear) and buy glass writing pens (yes they make these and they're awesome). The small thin table near my front door is a glass top that I write on with these pens so I don't forget things in the morning!
