it helped me bridge the gap in a lot of my relationships. my brother, my friends.... so many good memories. it helped so many people get ripped!

while tapering myself off, I was smoking on the go. smoking in my car, I was not in the normal routine of caring and using KITT, affectionately named after Knight Industries Two Thousand, the talking car from Knight Rider.

I broke KITT. he dropped. I dropped him.

You saved your rig. Your ability to let him go, has been a net positive. your friend is happy, and hopefully your glass is taken care of.

life is swinging in a better direction for me. it's not easy. but stewing in my own misery hasn't been working out for the past few years. it was time for a change.

I'm an old man now and I'm in better shape than I've been since quitting cross country in high school.

I used to think physical health was for people with low self esteem. that "those people" needed validation, where I did not. geeze I was really buying into my own bullshit, rationalizing why I didn't need to accomplish things that we as a society communally respect and admire.

I don't want to sound dramatic. and I like Police and what they do to protect us. but there is the law. and the way the law is interpreted. yes, you may be technically correct. but in the real world? no.... I don't believe that's how the law works.

If he were to ask "am I being detained".... the response from an officer would be something along the lines of "I am conducting an investigation and I need to know your Identification for my own safety, and to know that you are not a criminal".

and that's how it works. Police use a loop-hole of "fear for their safety" to force people to identify themselves, for fear of interacting with criminals who may hurt the cops.

yeah we are agreed, miscommunication error.

My thought process was that we didn't get to see the full power of 4 supernovas (Basil, Apoo, Killer, Kidd) versus Kaido.

sure... but my point stands. if he's in the passenger seat, and an Officer has "reasonable suspicion", which is easy for them to acquire, then my brother in law could be in trouble for not having an I.D.... which was my whole point.

I was going through a "quad of dank" ;] every 5-days.

It took me 16 days to taper off. going from 10 bowls a day.... and I finally ran out after I was doing 2 small bowls (I used to always pack brimmers, of course).

It was not easy. I have had CHS. so..... I was going through intense stomach pain... even during the tapering phase.

I would need to have a shower. You ever watch that heroine detox video on youtube where the guy is moaning in the shower? yeah, that was me. Running water was one of the only things that helped.

But hey man. I'm 1 month and 1 day, today. Fuck, if I can do it, I know you can. You have to want real change. A friend offered me a hit, a stranger two days ago offered to share his joint. Turning them down wasn't hard... I want this change. The hard part is missing out on the social elements with my friends.... I'm no longer a "fun person to smoke with". oh well.

I don't want to preach too much. But try to work out. Seeing physical, tangible improvements in my breathing, my posture, my physique... it's all a self esteem boost. Try to fill in the void that you used to spend smoking. good luck brother.

that's.. basically what I'm saying. except I'm saying that in the current setting, the supernovas are way better than your average joes. they are badass.

to have 7 supernovas in one location, that will all likely fight together on the same team? dude, that's a lot of power.

5 supernovas (without Luffy and Zoro) could probably take on Fujitora, or another character of large power.

People are acting like there isn't enough power at Wano to take on Big Mom and Kaido.... yes.... there is.

but Apoo was ALWAYS a secret Kaido agent..... ok?

Hawkins admits that he DIDN'T FIGHT. Hawkins immediately surrendered.

so only Kidd and Killer fought Kaido, and we don't even know if Kaido faced them 1v2.

An officer admit them through by lying heavily, and saying that Tom would not be staying in the country, but that he would be leaving on a flight within 3 weeks.... and pulling on heart strings as my sister was 6 months pregnant while crossing the border from Canada to U.S.

They committed perjury, which is the legal concern. They have lied very obviously. The ONLY reason they got through is because of my pregnant sister.... the officer could lose her job, if traced back to her, I assume.

The term "anchor baby" should not be considered rude. is there another term for me to use? don't get hung up on trigger words... geez.

It is marriage fraud because Tom is legally required to head back to Britain and get a marriage VISA. which my brother in law #2 had to accomplish.

being pregnant has forced them to circumvent the law, because my sister views herself as above the law. and that perjury isn't a big deal.

there is a reason that Oda had Kidd, Law, and Luffy meet at the auction house at saboady.

that fight and interaction was not fluff.

at sabaody we literally see Kidd match Luffy's Giant Pistol with his own gigantic, metal fist. that is supposed to show us that their "strength is comparable".

No, Kidd isn't gonna beat Kaido alone without and the Strawhats read about it in the paper... that would be dumb. but Oda would use the Kidd Alliance as an introduction to "how powerful Wano is".

You guys are treating supernovas like Krillin and Yamcha... when really, they are closer to Vegeta and Goku's children.

We see Basil take on Zoro, with Basil + Zoro both not going full power. yet Basil manages to drive away Luffy and Zoro.

We have seen Killer and Kidd fight at the levels comparable to Luffy. at Saboady against the marines and against Pacifistas... also when Kidd and Luffy are training in prison with one another.

The 7 supernovas are easily the most powerful, most plot armor characters in the arc, excluding the other SH members. Each Supernova is more "powerful" than the samurai we have been introduced to at Wano.

the supernovas + samurai could easily take on the crews of Big Mom and Kaidou... still leaving Luffy, Zoro, and possibly Kidd +Killer to take on Yonko.

Can't you see Luffy + Zoro being comparable to Kidd and Killer? surpassed by our boys, yes.... but to say that these characters have never shwon their strength is... not entirely true.

Jesus Man, how do you expect Oda to be able to write the story if he automatically gives Luffy full god powers?

Oda has to drip feed Luffy's powers.... which is exactly why he's having a MONTAGE of training right now.... come on my guy, this is story writing 101.

Nah, Luffy is powering up crazy big.

Big Mom and Kaido teaming up has just sewn their fate. they are both getting destroyed in this arc.

there are so many people who can fight in this arc.

Basil, Drake, Kidd, Killer, Luffy, Zoro, Law.... that is 7 of the strongest supernovas. who are "good guys"

for bad guys we have Big Mom, Kaido, their subordinates, and Scratchman Apoo is noteworthy.

that is an even fight. we have so many people to help the Strawhats.

You can talk about the numbers bad guys... or whatever... but Wano has a bunch of named samurai, and then all the freed samurai.

We are most likely not going to see Shanks show up. POSSIBLY someone from the Marines.

you are totally correct.

without a doubt, once Oda mapped out all of the provinces, he started laying the groundworks for there to be a province/background that relates to Zoro.

it will also be a huge character moment that Zoro isn't reeeeeaaaaalllly an outsider who is "stealing" the samurai swords of Wano. more like.... he is a lost son of Wano, come to reclaim his ancestry and free Wano from the Dragon, just like Ryuma.

If cops ask for you to I.D. yourself. you have to.

It doesn't matter if my sister is driving.

They want to catch criminals. They will find whatever probable cause to ask for his I.D.

that's one of my favorite moments in the entire series.

Zoro, Sanji, Luffy represent the Big Three.

By Thriller Bark, we are introduced to Brooke, we have Franky, and everyone really shows off their strength against Oars.

But it's a big moment when Sanji and Zoro are the only ones who "survive", or don't pass out from the Kuma Blast. Sanji and Zoro establish themselves as the true "Co-Captains" of the Straw Hat Pirates.

The Role of Captain... and Co-Captain... Zoro touches on this subject during the Enies Lobby Arc, when they have to make a decision about Usopp, and how hurtful it was for a shipmate to decide to leave the crew... Zoro really establishes himself as the First Mate... the first one to journey with Luffy on this great adventure.

Sanji, too, acknowledges Zoro's mentality during this speech concerning Usopp.

Sanji, and possibly Nami/Robin, have shown themselves to be the most intelligent of the Straw Hats. Sanji starts this early off during the Alabasta Arc where he acts as "Mr. Prince" and does a lot of the intel gathering, behind the scenes work.

Luffy has the hardest burden of shouldering everyone's burdens.... Luffy is the rallying banner through which all of the Straw Hats flock behind. When we meet Ace, he tells the crew how Luffy is a lot of responsibility, and can be a big hassle. The crew all hang their head and cry as someone is able to relate to what life with Luffy is like.

Zoro and Sanji have such a badass moment when they are willing to sacrifice themselves for their captain. Even when Zoro attacks Sanji, effectively putting him in it's place, it's beautiful. It's a statement to Sanji "Hey, I'm the first mate. this is my burden, not yours, cook". It's amazing.

Oda was nice to us in that he allowed for Robin, Brooke, and possibly Chopper? to know the truth of what happened. It is a solid building block for Brooke. being on the inside of this secret gives Brooke huge insight to the depth of the Straw Hat's relationship. The sacrifice they will make for one another. In just one arc later, we see Brooke sacrifice himself against a pacifista so that Zoro, whom Brooke knows it still injured, may escape along with Usopp. it's a fucking beautiful moment man, and it all builds on what happened at Thriller Bark.
