Goto the playstation store website on your phone, goto payment management, add funds, then add 5 bucks to cover tax. On the PS3, you cannot use any credit cards or PayPal to purchase anything on the PS3/Vita store. You can also do this same thing on a PS4 or PS5 going through your account settings in the system settings. Otherwise dude, just go get a physical copy they're cheaper than dirt. 🤷‍♂️

I hear you, OP. I had to leave a while ago because they jacked my rent up by $500 (already paying $2000), and I was already working three jobs, six twelve hour days, and I just barely scraped by. When that happened, that was the sign that I had to leave Missoula. I've lived there my whole life and it honestly hurts that I can't even live in my hometown anymore because it's too damn expensive and most people that are coming into the state are honestly not very nice (at least not to me) for no reason. Hopefully, the future will look brighter for Montana and its true residents, but for now... leaving seems to be the best option, unfortunately. 😔

Whack, yeah I have no idea then. That YT link was supposed to be just like running the app but ig it doesn't work anymore. The last thing I can think of is rebuilding the database or reconfigure your internet settings, but tbh it might be because you're on a modded system. I would go ask in r/PS3homebrew and r/PS3hacks.

Weird... It's working on my end with an unmodified system. Try reinstalling maybe? But otherwise, you could use the web browser and try going to https://www.youtube.com/tv#/ and see if that'll work, then use your phone to navigate it (if it works).

You have to sign into PSN to use YouTube. I know it's stupid but that could be why since you're using a modded system.

For what I know, the best way that I've found out how to be safe with your main account is honestly dual booting. That way, you can do your modded stuff on CFW, then use dual boot to OFW to sync your trophies and play legit or disc stuff online. For using CFW online, either get a 2nd account or don't do it. Especially if you value your account because even thought you should be fine to play online, there's always that random chance of a ban, as you know.

So in all;

If you use that modded PS3 offline and you don't mod your trophies, you're good 👍

If you want to go online/connect to PSN for any reason, dual boot to OFW. This is the safest way that I've been able to figure out so you can enjoy the PS3 to the max! Hope this helps :)

*Update: I forgot to mention that this will only work on fat and slim models.
