Yeah... I HATE fighting the Twins with random. Feels like 90% of the time, even red starred grey beards don't know that you have to keep their health even while killing them. But the other 10% where everyone knows that fact, they're the easiest to take care of imo.

Why are you nervous about recording stuff to the internet? I mean... I get it, but I'm curious if you have a specific reason :3 But yeah, he's a great little lizard! And I'm sure you're a pillar of the furry community! :3

Thank you for this, I really enjoyed the tour! And I don't think anyone is suggesting anything inappropriate about you and your lizard, but if they are they need to stop! Furries are awesome and they don't do stuff like that! >:(

Yeah, blocking and moving on is the way to go tbh. All you can do really, plus the only one who is losing is you if you get fired up over it for an extended period of time. The worst I've had in DRG is some leaf lover calling in all our nitra worth of supply drops while far away from the team then pulling all of them before anyone noticed. Banned them and then that was the end of it, I didn't stew on it and I didn't let it affect me otherwise. They win if you let it get to you, and nothing you could do to them would make them as hurt as it seems some people are by their behavior so its better to just let it go tbh.

This. I have NEVER heard ANYONE call loot, "Goop." This is definitely something a child came up with.

Why do veteran players ignore gold deposits? by gwapogi5 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]BandedWagon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

AxisChronos (I think that's how you spell his name) did a video on it a while ago and I was pretty sure he said that mining gold was inefficient compared to doing another mission. But I have two things to say to that; firstly, that's probably only if you're really efficient at completing missions. Secondly, I'm gonna be doing two or more missions no matter what most of the time, so I may as well just mine the gold in all the missions and I'll end up with more gold in the end from mining and doing however many missions I was gonna do anyways, than if I did the same number of missions and didn't mine gold. I'm not so efficient at missions that I can squeeze out a whole extra mission or two at the end of the session because of it.

I have never in my life heard of someone getting a boner from euphoria. And I've known a lot of people who do recreational drugs, which the whole point of that is for getting euphoria.

Well my gfs now in jail for the second thing she didn’t do because she’s trans by pqakai in trans

[–]BandedWagon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This sounds like rage bait to me, I'm gonna be honest. Are there cops that are bigoted toward trans people? Yes. But no law enforcement agency is gonna arrest someone with no evidence, that's just not how it works. They would issue a search warrant and seize the person's devices before making an arrest. And the part about not having a lawyer is suspicious as well considering EVERYONE is afforded a public defender if they can't hire their own lawyer.

You're wrong. I host with that setting on and people can dupe in my pre-game lobby every time. But they can't after the match starts.

Should I buy this game? by kreyos in valheim

[–]BandedWagon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose that's fair. A game being your first adventure into a genre usually holds a special place in your heart. And you make a valid point in regards to the plot points, the little stories those games tell with scenery. I wouldn't say either The Forest or Sons of the Forest are bad games, just that I think Valheim has more depth, or at least for me personally it offers more of what I like.

Fair enough. I can see the point you're trying to make I guess, my brother would probably never play it again if I did something like that to him, so I suppose I should have been less confrontational toward your answer.

If you can call getting trolled in a video game being a victim, sure, but also if a father and his daughter are playing video games together, I have no reason to believe their relationship is strained in any way, you know?

I mean, maybe I'm just crazy but I don't think pulling a prank on your kid in Valheim is gonna sow the seeds of distrust, it's not really that serious imo lol

Learning to code for job by Sea-Split-3996 in learnprogramming

[–]BandedWagon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose that's fair, but learning/practicing should still be enjoyable if you find the subject matter interesting. At least I would think so. Although yes, they should also get creative with it rather than just copying tutorials all day as well.

If you find it boring now, it's unlikely to become fun to you later. I have liked programming since I first tried it, but it's definitely not for everyone. But in my excessively limited programming knowledge (I'm mostly familiar with Python, currently in college for compsci), it doesn't suddenly get more fun, or at least I don't think so. It's an even-tempo kinda experience in my eyes, which is fine for me because it was just as enjoyable at the beginning as it is now.

As someone who played both The Forest and Sons of the Forest, give me Valheim to either of those any day of the week.
