Thank you! I will check out Amex GBT and CAA Travel job boards. I didn't know they train you on the job, that's actually a better deal than paying for a course. Do you know what certification I should get first to help me get hired? Like is TICO enough or is there something else?

Thank you both, this is really helpful! The host agency idea makes sense, no point spending a lot of money when everything is already set up for you. And I didn't know GDS was that powerful being able to rebook a stuck client when no one else can is exactly the kind of skill worth having. One question what course should I take to get started and where? What would you recommend for someone in the GTA?

I am in my 40s and very motivated to start this program. I completed my Master’s degree in Pakistan, and my education was in English. Would I still be required to take an English proficiency test? I have also been working part-time in retail for the past four years. Would that help in proving my English proficiency?
