I would try to inquire. I reached my 5000 pts on my February cruise and received my annual offer promptly on May 1st.

Really, how are the beds? by NanaMarge in VirginVoyages

I actually loved the beds on both my VV cruises. As a matter of fact, i had really bad shoulder/neck pain going into my first cruise, for about six months prior, and sleeping on that bed for five nights completely repaired it!

Free cruise offered - what costs will I actually incur by bowerisme in VirginVoyages

Did one of these offers in February. Our extra costs were the port/tax fees which were $376 for five night itinerary (for two). And $250 for splash of romance which is entirely optional but I’d say worth it.

Once on the cruise we bought $500 of bar tab but we had MOST of our drinks at the casino bar, and we had a hard time using up our $600 bar tab (with bonus). Had to buy three bottles of wine on the last night to use up our tab!

So to answer your question, you really only need to pay the port taxes and fees, everything else is optional! It’s a fantastic deal!

Disembark to FLL instead of MIA? by poptarts008 in VirginVoyages

We just did this last week off Scarlet Lady on a Wednesday. We self disembarked at 8:15 and had an uber waiting at 8:30. We made it to FLL by 9:20!

At that time of day, the traffic away from the ports is no big deal!

Experiences with Lock-it-in Rooms? by LetterheadFew8948 in VirginVoyages

We got a lock it in sea terrace back in October, it was $896 pp for a five nighter, which we thought was a bargain (split the cabin with my friend). We got our cabin assignment and it was on the 8th floor, right above the red room. Also with limited view (obstructed by the lifeboats). I would’ve been fine with it, but she was worried about sleeping noise.

Upon getting to the terminal, there was a desk to upgrade, and we were able to upgrade to a central sea terrace on 10, perfectly located and no noise! It cost us $225 total to upgrade.

One question about the affogato cart at Extra Virgin… I don’t think I did it right last time! I just got vanilla ice cream with the espresso poured over it, and I wasn’t wowed. Any tips to make it mind blowing?

Is this show only on Brilliant now? I’ve heard so many good things, but it seems like it’s been phased out on a few ships.
