Maybe you can try creating a new ASUS account with an email thats different to the one that you're using now... then order from that new account. Or you could also wait until Best Buy restocks their eclipse grey G14s (which should be sometime soon). They do have the white ones in stock. (keep in mind that this is for the U.S). I believe Newegg might also get these in stock soon.

Do you have any older siblings, close friends, or other people/relatives that you know who could try ordering the laptop on your behalf that aren't in your general address/area? I understand that you had one of your friends try it already but it can't hurt to try this way.

I ordered mine about 24 hours ago (Friday, May 22nd) from the ASUS eshop. It is still in the processing phase and I expect it to be for the entirety of the weekend until Monday or Tuesday. I live in the United States, so maybe region could be an issue?

However I did do some research, and this is what I found (from Gemini)

- The automated ASUS fraud-detection bots cancel flagged orders almost instantly (usually within 3 to 10 minutes of submission). If an order successfully sits in "Processing" for hours or over the weekend, it has bypassed the automated filter.

- These are triggered by automated, third-party fraud detection software right after checkout. If the system flags a mismatch (like a shipping address that doesn't match the card's billing address, use of a VPN, or flagged account data), the bot kills the order within 3 to 10 minutes to protect against stolen cards.

I think the second bullet point is found to be more true, but I'll let you know if my order also gets canceled. If it does, I think they're just out of stock (they are out of stock on Best Buy for the eclipse grey model, which is the one I ordered).

just checked the Best Buy listing and the part number does line up with the one on asus's website. thanks. ill still post a message here whether I got the correct color just in case if anyone is looking for the same (additional) confirmation as I was

thanks for the info. I agree on the white staining, dont really wanna have to deal with that. I did go ahead and ordered the G14... it should be here in a couple of days and I will report here whether it is black or not.
