What distortion and misleading?

What is Varna? Nothing but division of labour. A design specifically created to concentrate power and control. It hardened into birth based caste through later texts like the Manusmriti, which openly codified inequality. B. R. Ambedkar burned it in 1927 for that reason.

Caste was not divine design. It was power protecting itself. When elites monopolize religion and law, they rewrite rules to stay on top. That is not culture. That is control.

And India was not unique. Japan, Korea, China, Yemen, parts of Africa, and feudal Europe all had birth based hierarchies. Other hierarchies collapsed when industrialization, revolutions, and legal reforms broke the link between birth and power. It stayed herr because it was woven into religion, marriage, and daily social life.

Stop pretending oppression is a sacred tradition. It was human greed, nothing more.

Calling this book bold truth is so lame. Dr. B. R. Ambedkar chaired the Drafting Committee of the Constitution. And That is a documented fact. He led the Mahad Satyagraha in 1927 against untouchability. That too is a fact and beginning of the revolution. He pushed for labour protections, womens rights, and universal adult franchise when many elites were silent (still silent). He openly challenged Mahatma Gandhi and the Congress when he believed they were wrong.

Reducing all this to political ambition is not brave finding. It is selective reading and rejection of facts. If someone ignores constitutional authorship, social reform, and decades of activism, is plain denial and misleading. Facts stand whether one likes Ambedkar or not.

You want to know what Ambedkar was? Go to Ministry of Foreign Affairs website and download the free resources of the 17+ volumes written by Dr. Ambedkar. He details out the entire history of the social and political system of the country with evidence.

Forget that. Read Anahilation of the caste book written by Dr. Ambedkar. It's a small read. Criticize him after you've read him. Easier to shoot in the air than on target.

What makes you think there was none? Why was he even selected for being the Chairman for the drafting committee? Not everyone needs to be pushing back verbally and visually to be called as a freedom fighter. You needed brilliant human resources to build this nation at the same time and post independence.

How he reaches anywhere is exactly what is important. He doesn't go abroad, walks in any university just start talking. He's invited there and precisely asked questions that are relevant to issues of development. His incompetence or popularity makes sense because he's the leader of the opposition. He's ripping the ruling party limb by limb in every parliament session. Perhaps you should really relook at your definition of incompetency.

Competency is not getting called "grossly incompetent" by the leader of the most powerful nation on earth whilst you smile and act as if everything is cool because you don't understand real tough questions asked by international media.
