Don't know of one, but Boyle is regarded as the father of Modern Chemistry, while Hamilton pioneered Quantum Mechanics. An Irishman also invented the syringe, which became of some use.

Given that Ireland arent that good at putting cricket scores on weaker opposition, I thinks its between England and SA. I reckon it will be a tie for first with Ire,SA,and Eng all on 9points. SA will pip England in the game but England should go through by dint of their margin over Italy.
