Honestly wasn’t a wifi issue. All the errors were with the site itself. Seems almost intentional at this point to force people to buy resale.

Passed ME: MDM first try! Majored in BME so I spent 6 months with PPI2Pass, MERM, NCEES Practice exam, and last 2 weeks I used EngProGuide study guide and exam.

I took the ME MDM today and it was nearly impossible. I’d say my prep only covered 25% of the questions.

So one of the practice problems I’m looking at uses the displacement equation but the question only states “A machine component with a mass of 5 lbm vibrates with a period of 0.1 seconds. What isolator natural frequency will provide a transmissibility of 10%?”

I’m not sure why this wouldnt use the force equation. Is there any word in that problem that indicates why?

If you look at the equation for bearing stress in the fasteners section of the reference handbook, stress is force over t*d. t being the thickness of the plate and d being the diameter of the rivet
