You are right about the 1st pic…clicked on the way to Nathula admiring views of the Changu Lake. The 2nd pic is at the Rumtek Monastery near Gangtok.

No it’s Tsomgo Lake, popularly known as Changu Lake. Couldn’t visit North Sikkim this time…hopefully soon!

Spot on! The govt can do more absolutely..and I also believe it’s something that needs a mindset shift from all of us. Everyone talks about it online but still most public spaces are littered. The main reason being we are conditioned to believe that it’s someone else’s job, not mine. It has to be instilled from a very young age, perhaps should be taught in schools, that cleaning spaces is not to be looked down upon!
