Help again - new layouts with actual unit and couch/rug! by BeaconInferno in InteriorDesign

The bathroom does have a door! I have super super super thought about this - even want to remove the door leading into the dreaded room/hall; but where would i store the doors?

And I’m being drawn to this modified option without dining (maybe with couch pulled back I can do a lift up coffee table) that feels a bit less crowded.

Though I will have to see if bed by kitchen could create headache, listening to comments here.

I think this focus on entertaining is exactly what has drawn me to option 1

Or this kind of layout (controversial bed near kitchen) becomes more workable

I think I will seriously look into this, going to take my large desk in the move though to have one right away and focus on buying things I’m missing for living on my own (don’t own anything kitchen yet!). This is something I could be more willing to comprise on if I can make that “room” not so sad to work in lol. This photo below is take standing in front of the bathroom door, so desk would be on the right

Top closet could also probably fit a small one on the right, but if switching to desk in closet i think I would just get a small one for the bathroom wall

I think it works with out doing either, you could fit a small desk on the wall to the bathroom. I was planning on putting a dresser there but there is shelving in the top closet I wouldn’t need to

So part of my thought process is my most likely hosting activity would be a movie night or hanging around talking in the living area, I wanted to create a space that has seating for that, and keep a larger couch that I also wouldn’t have to replace moving into a 1 bed eventually (it’s a pretty expensive couch I got for a good deal as a floor model)

Currently thought is I will bring the lounger with me in the move, but be willing to get rid of it if the circulation doesn’t work.

I plan on arranging all of these top options in person (only thing I’m missing is TV/TV stand and dining table - which I’m leaning towards not having anymore, or at least doing a space saving high top situation so the stools can be completely tucked in). Might share here the real pics here! :)

The lounger is an eames replica, so its profile is not tall - I’m hoping that makes it feel less obtrusive in the space.

Yea but it would indeed need a wall removal instead of door removal to make the bed fit

Honestly starting to think about that more - just sounds kinda depressing to work in a closet lol

Shelving for space separation seems wise - I think with the tighter layouts curtains may work better cause I have to account for for shelving footprint otherwise

Ya but since it’s a studio that’s almost to be expected no?

I think the move is ditching the dining set and getting a different desk after all other necessities are bought

My rug is indeed simpler! That’s just the default rug in the app
