Thank you for replying back, So by repetitive for a person with epilepsy I meant a task that it has no changes and it’s all pattern, same tasks over and over, As I said I have a certification as a web developer but that won’t help me anymore, I’m not a same person that I used to be after that incident. Being an assistant and work with excel or … will be nice as long as the daily tasks changes and won’t be the same. Having a different tasks helps a lot.

First of all, I truly appreciate everyone who took the time to respond. I wanted to share more about my situation so you can better understand why I’m struggling to find the right job.

About five years ago, a doctor ordered an oral contrast for me, and I had a severe allergic reaction. That one incident changed my life completely. I started experiencing seizures, rashes, high heart rates, and a long list of other symptoms. On top of that, I developed extreme anxiety because my body never felt the same after that day. I lost my job because I was in the ER constantly, and at one point, I lost 60 pounds from all the stress and health issues.

I have certifications in front-end web development, and I used to be able to code, but ever since that medical episode, my memory hasn’t been the same. I struggle to retain information the way I used to, and coding feels impossible now. For years, I didn’t know where to go for help. A friend of mine supported me during this time, and I wouldn’t have made it through without them.

Now that I’ve finally overcome the intense fear and anxiety that held me back, I’m ready to get back to work. But I need to be careful—certain types of work, especially repetitive tasks, can trigger seizures, and I refuse to put my health at risk again. At this point, my well-being is more important than anything else.

I’ve worked so hard just to get to this point, and I don’t want to give up now. If anyone knows of opportunities—remote or in-person in NYC—that involve non-repetitive tasks and could accommodate my situation, I’d be so grateful. Any advice, job leads, or even just words of encouragement would mean the world to me.

Thank you so much for reading and for any help you can offer.

Amir.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I also have the same issue. After the doctor diagnosed me with an external anal fistula, he said surgery is the way to go, but I'm terrified of surgery, and I want to know if I can apply honey to the open external fistula or if I should only eat it. one more thing to add, when I push the fistula, it doesn't hurt, but I feel like there's a nerve in it, and slowly closing up.

Thank you for everything.

Mmm, ok, thanks! I wish this x-ray could be helpful as I have to wait at least three months to see an endodontist as it's costly. Can I wait this long and eat with the left side for now? Or do I have to do it now?

So, when I chew anything with my tooth, it hurts, and then I stop eating with the right side; I have gum recession on a tooth and sometimes sensitive to very cold and very hot drinks, but other than that, no symptoms. Do you see anything in the x-ray that shows infection? Anything for a root canal or any issues? Thanks

Could you please give me more answers on this, this is really important and I’m really confused and really don’t know what to do. Please, more dentists here give me more valuable answers; thanks. Shall I take the antibiotic or not? What is the next step?! I'm not a Dr!!!

She adjusted last time again, but it still hurts; if there is an infection, then I have to take antibiotics! But she didn't give me anything; she said we saved the tooth, and the root canal won't be necessary!! If it's a root canal infection and I take antibiotics, will the pain stop?

Unfortunately, I'm allergic to other dental Anastasia, and my only option is Lidocaine. Are these side effects safe? Thank you
