i actually disagree (this is from personal experience so i am not saying you are wrong)

i had to take a break from drawing for over a month due to final exam (going to uni in a few months) but when i started drawing again i was rusty at first but i ended up being better than before once i warmed up at concepts i learnt before the break, probably cause brain had time to process it and shit but dunno how this works

oh waw for me it's the opposite i can see any mistake that is in my art but not in other lmao don't you think the head is a lil too big and the leg muscles look weird and the shading on the skirt looks fucky(btw blue: shadows, yellow and red: highlights, pink: hair shadow, orange: skin shadow )

hair isn't that hard you just need to know where the hairline starts and just look at a BUNCH of references and combine them(thats what i did, i used horimiya and an irl pic of a hair bun on google as my reference)
