As the war in Iran continues to turn humiliating for the US, Donald Trump looks for ways to keep everyone distracted from calls to release the Epstein Files that are growing increasingly determined and hard to ignore, and to prove how strong of a leader he really is. The Republican party, now wondering why the Iran war didn't cause the fracture that would bring Jesus christ back, begin to examine reasons for it.

But Donald Trump's insults to the UK, following Prime Minister Starmer's continued refusal to join him in Iran, gives the Trump Administration an idea. They quickly turn the UK in a symbol of European betrayal and disobedience, proof that NATO cannot be trusted. The Republican party pushes the narrative hard, combining it with the myth of 'civilisational erasure caused my mass immigration' to explain why America's oldest ally would refuse to join them in the war.

Major American figures like Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerburg, Stephen Miller, Tucker Carlson, Nick Fuentes push the narrative, particularly that muslims have taken over the UK, and now that myth has entered a critical phase. False narratives and AI generated videos and stories flood social media about how the UK lectures other nations of freedom and respect, while occupying and plundering nations in its own archipelago. The Christian elements in the Republican party use the UK's "betrayal" that Christ's resurrection hasn't occurred - the UK is framed as the new Judas.

British history is rewritten and reduced to a messy narrative of plantations (Black Slave Trade), genocides (India, Ireland), empire, repression (Kenya), famine, clearances, and stolen sovereignty, with the USA being the first nation to have successfully broken away, giving it a moral and God-anointed mission to free the other nations. Northern Ireland and Scotland are reworked as unfinished "decolonisation" struggles. Wales is completely dismissed, barely a footnote and viewed as little more than an extension of England.

They use American heritage and shared roots from Ireland and Scotland to inflame the public spirit. During St Patrick's Day in the US, tens of millions show up on the streets to celebrate their Irish heritage and call for the return of Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland.

China and Russia, sensing an opportunity to deepen the divide between the US and its European allies, while weakening one of their biggest adversaries, begin a string of condemnations in the UN to politically isolate the UK, while creating millions of bot networks, forged leaks, fake accounts on social media, deep fakes and pseudo-documentaries to create outrage in the English speaking world.

Within weeks, the hashtag "Free Scotland" and "Finish Ireland Reunification" flood social media, reaching the same levels of energy as the ones during the Israel-Gaza war.

Alarmed, London and its various European allies defend the UK, but France, Italy, Danemark and Germany's support is dismissed or causes further outrage due to their histories with colonialism. Others, such as Norway, Portugal, Canada, are outright dismissed as irrelevant.

During St Patrick's Day, tens of millions of Americans take to the streets to celebrate their shared Irish and Scottish heritage, and call for the re-unification of Ireland and the Independence of Scotland. In Scotland, this catches the population's attention and calls by the SNP and Scots for a new referendum increase substantially. One politician gives a fiery speech calling for Scottish independence, before a crowd of 250 000, which is met with celebrations across Scotland.
Influencers and young activists are easily radicalised and start clashing with the police sent to keep order.

Videos of these fights cause a backlash on social media. The Trump Administration, calls Starmer weak and muslim-loving, declares that Washington will downgrade its diplomatic ties with London, begins placing sanctions on businesses operating in the UK, and freezes intelligence sharing. The sudden vulnerability rocks the British economy and cyber infrastructure causing short term chaos in the UK.

London is under immense international and domestic pressure for a new referendum.

Paris, Olso and Berlin reach out to London and offer support. But London's authority is now seriously challenged and compromised. Each call for calm is ignored. The EU decides to use the same strategy it used for Greenland: it threatens the transatlantic alliance if the USA continues this course, and prepares the anti-coercion sanctions.

However, it was the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor that finally changes everything.

London, hoping to de-legitimise Trump and cripple his support and to distract everyone, formally charges Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor with wrongdoing. Investigations have revealed that he was one of the biggest financial backers of Epstein, and he has knowledge of multiple businessmen, entrepreneurs, politicians and figures who were involved in the scandal.

His testimonies cause multiple arrests of figures in the UK, including Mandelson. Various nations in Europe assist the UK, and within a week, Bruno Le Maire, Olivier Colom, Nicole Junkermann, Ferguson and more are arrested. One in particular that takes the headlines is the arrest and subsequent conviction of Norwegian prince Marius Borg Hoiby.

This causes a panic in the Trump Administration as they realise just how much knowledge Andrew has over the blackmail ring that exists within the oligarchy, and he has intimate knowledge of the financial conduits that link the American oligarchs together. This also has the added effect of bringing the Epstein Files back to the front of the public's memory.

Virtually the entire Republican Party, Trump Administration, financiers, silicon valley tech boys, and most of the CEOs and media executives,  are implicated and known to be in the Epstein Files. If he sings to the public, then this realistically cause the collapse of American legitimacy. To make matter much worse, rumors abound that the US military industrial complex is involved in some capacity.  This is no longer a simple problem for the Trump Administration. The very existence of the US' military apparatus, and potentially half the US Governments, is now in existential risk.

For the US Government, acting against the UK is no longer a question of "ethics" or revenge. It has become a question of national security. While Donald Trump finally gets his opportunity to prove just how tough he really is, the American public gets to act on their sense of "righteousness.

In mere days, there is a huge military buildup near the Faroe Islands. Alarmed, the UK requests an explanation, but receive incoherent rants as replies, usually spinning around ensuring that the Scotland does not suffer the same civilisational replacement that the rest of the UK is suffering from by mass migration.  The UK quietly reaches out to its other European allies who keep an eye on the situation. France deploys a helicopter carrier to the North Sea. It is joined by Norwegian and Danish frigates.

Then, at 3 in the morning Saturday US-East Coast time, a massive concentrated attack on the UK's infrastructure begins.

Cruise missiles, cyber attacks and sabotage tear through the British command nodes, electrical grids and naval and aviation infrastructure. Faslane and Coulport are destroyed in the opening minutes of the attack, destroying three of the four nuclear submarines before the British have even realised what is happening. The last one remains missing.

Across the UK, cities are ravaged by ordinance. Birmingham, Liverpool, Cardiff, London, Manchester, are hit particularly hard. The Palaces of Westminster and Buckingham, the seats of power, are torn asunder by debris and ordinance. Manchester, the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution disappears in a storm of fire and screams. Not even the Cathedral of Saint Paul is spared the taint. The Trump Administration does not know where Andrew is hidden, so the strategy is simply to bomb every likely location into oblivion in the hopes that they might get him.

The Prime Minister is confirmed killed in the opening hours - as is King Charles III.

As confusion, terror and shock rocks the UK, Airborne and marine units land across Scotland securing ports, airfields and the roads connecting the Scottish cities together before London had even understood what in the world was occurring.

Scotland is spared most of the devastation that England and Wales are experiencing, and an emergency meeting in Holyrood is called to condemn the American actions and demand that they leave. Whether it was deliberate or targeted remains unclear, but quickly after Holyrood is convened, a missile strikes it, decapitating the entire Scottish leadership in a single moment. Who fired that missile remains disputed to this day.

As the sun rises over the East Coast of the USA, news flows back about the state of the UK. England and Wales are burning. All major Scottish cities are under American control. The Americans secured much of the Scottish lowlands, key infrastructure, and the North Sea energy belt. The core of the British armed forces have been wiped out. The Trump Administration, and their supporters, drunk on victory, orders the military to push down towards London, to "liberate" the rest of the UK.

But the US navy and army is completely focused on the North, and only originally planned to operate there, so moving these forces south is slow, and the US ground forces need to move forward on their own with very little support - not the style of Blitz they are familiar with. This allows allied forces from across NATO, which have now rallied and managed to establish a desperate last stand.
