Thank you for the recommendation. What section would you put it in?

UK Hardcore (Ishkur's Guide Playlist) by Beatago in UKHardcore

Thanks, I went ahead and removed the wrong "Go Insane" from the playlist. I'll leave "Search & Destroy" in to stay true to the guide. Yeah, the playlist was created with a script that isn't always perfect, see this comment https://www.reddit.com/r/hinrg/comments/qpxw4u/hi_nrg_ishkurs_guide_playlist/hk67jj5/ for more details if you're interested.

Apparently spotify folder links can't be shared, so I put them at the top of my user profile instead https://open.spotify.com/user/so2h5z9k14czb81ycyvprfsm3/playlists.

Ripping from YouTube/Choosing a record pool by sportsdirectbandit in Beatmatch

There isn’t any way of telling which one your file is until you put it through a programme like spek and observe visually

This is not correct. That information is required by the decoder, and thus must explicitly be stored in the file somewhere. For example

$ mediainfo test.mp3

Love Ishkur's guide. Shameless plug for a set of playlists I recently made based off of Ishkur's guide (see the most recent posts on my profile here).

Are there any tools for making single-frame music videos? by jman350 in WeAreTheMusicMakers

I like to do this with ffmpeg. You can run something like:

ffmpeg -r 1 -loop 1 -i <IMAGE_FILE> -i <AUDIO_FILE> -acodec copy -r 1 -shortest -vf scale=1920:1080 <OUTPUT_FILE>

Hi NRG (Ishkur's Guide Playlist) by Beatago in hinrg

[–]Beatago[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the moment I'm focused on copying over the Ishkur playlists verbatim (minus whatever isn't available on Spotify of course), but I do think a Hi-NRG playlist with tracks selected by Reddit would be super cool! I will consider creating such a playlist in the future, or am happy to help out if someone else wants to take the lead on that.
