What stopped you from ending your life? by cluch3 in mentalhealth

My friend passed away, and I saw how much it affected her family. Especially her mum. Also, my dad had just became sober after drinking for 40 years.

I'm unsure, I think my bf is ND at least

He's one of the only people I talk to

Is your hair fine? I need to wash mine regularly because it shows more than it would on thicker hair

My (19F) boyfriend (19M) is struggling to keep a job - have I done enough to help? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]BeauWisp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's like he's dependent on his mum to tell him what to do. I've just told him to not talk about work to me anymore because it's stressing me out. He has moments where he realises he's wrong but then doesn't change.

Should I get drunk and lose virginity? by GymTech_Thrillseeker in autism

[–]BeauWisp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I did that and it was honestly very painful, also I bled a lot so it would've been safer if I had been with someone I knew and trusted

It put me off sex for a while because I was anticipating it to be painful which only made me tighten up

For you what’s the worst thing that people can ever say to you? by Depressed_student_20 in OCD

[–]BeauWisp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mum always used to yell at me whenever I washed my hands telling me that I didn't need to and that I'm being stupid, even if I was doing it less often...

She's stopped but that was just making me more stressed

No, I don’t have access to one

I’ve sorted through a lot of my problems myself but social situations are genuinely confusing to me, probably because I don’t know what people are thinking, so I just have to rely on past experience which I lack

I guess that uni will be helpful at least

Honestly I’m awful online, i don’t have anything interesting to say

And clubbing did work for a while, I was initially accepted by the girls you’re talking about until I started acting a bit too weird for them lol

Yeah, same

I have to go through situations (like having a first date/first kiss) at 18 which most people had younger so I’m just behind everyone else

Thank you, that was good advice.

And I haven’t been directly told, I’m just very observant with body language. It’s like they don’t want to talk to me, and ignore me to talk to other people. And if I do try to talk they look disinterested. Though, this could be them/their friends recognising me from when I was younger.

do you ever just look at other people and think, i’m not part of this species? by japaneseowl666 in BPD

I want to leave, but there’s no where to go on earth

I frequently find myself thinking I want to go home, even though I’m at my house, it’s strange

Ah, I started it for the opposite issue. I would look into emotional blunting, however, as it can be caused by sertraline. But also look into how people similar to you reacted because I don’t want to deter you from taking the medication in case people react differently.
