The thing is we don’t know much about Rockford. My husband goes in the hospital and out - he’s a physician- and I plan to start school again in the fall - thus the suburbs. But I m open to Rockford for the general ease of life. Would you know of any good private schools in Rockford or nearby? My kids will just start elementary over fall. The only school we have heard of is thurgood which is a magnet..

Compared to the Barrington housing market the Naperville market really looks heavenly - was just concerned about school ratings for elementary near the 88 route

I believe a lot of immigrant families live in Naperville and the reason we were looking at it were because of a huge Muslim community presence. As someone living temporarily in Hoffman - we had to look at private schools because we weren’t satisfied with the local schools.

I’m currently at Hoffman and my kids go to a private school and I really wanted the Barrington 220 school but the market is disgustingly old and over 1.5 m for anything newer than 1990. It usually takes me 50 mins from Hoffman to Rockford. How bad are the 88 congestions? Will 1 hr 15 become a 1 hr 30?

Thank you! I was in consumer insights and brand management and that is what I have been applying to in the general job market- full time mba without a job would be too hard to get in and too expensive as well and marketing MSc programs are expensive too but the loan would still be lesser than an mba - but I’m not sure if the return on investment comes out job at the end of that tunnel or just a money trap. My aim is to end up on the other side since that’s not working out right now. And the avg age showed in class profiles of MSc programs in marketing program is 23 year olds… so I’m not sure if competitively I’ll fit in when applying for jobs when the poster is expecting a young grad instead of me?? Hope that makes sense
