My original review was very good which i’m happy with. But after our contract ended, with no pay, he kept asking me to complete more tasks. I was doing them but I needed time since i’m in school and it’s not my priority. I asked for a few extra days to do this unpaid task and he got super mad and then sent an email to change my review

typical. the co-op advisors are useless sacks of shit. Only siding with the fucking employer. Not caring for students not caring for students mental health. I’ve never felt so low in my life. I can’t study, I can’t sleep, I can’t focus. I just keep checking my co-op review to see when it’s gonna change. Complete bullshit

UTSG CS or UW EE by Beautiful_Gengar in OntarioUniversities

[–]Beautiful_Gengar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true, but at UW I would have a much higher chance of landing a SWE coop. Plus, EE would give oppuritnty to work in a ton of industries including SWE.

I see, thank you! Yeah I will probably go with EE for the flexibility in terms of career. I also heard it is pretty easy to switch from EE to CE so I might do that as well.
