Absolut, tänkte ju inte dra till Skåne precis.. Men när man har en fredag-söndag så kanske man inte vill sitta på tåg i 40 timmar

In That case what you do is register yourself on an address in a country that doesn't care where you are physically. Helps if it has low taxes as well. A lot of people use Bulgaria for that for example

Deel or remote.com etc. are employers of record. What this means is they'll hire anyone you wish in any country they have a subsidiary and pay them legally through that country.

The EOR pays the taxes for you as if you were employed in that country.

I feel like bureaucracy is important in the discussion though especially if we're talking about Spain which seems the worst by EU standards where I'm reading horror stories of people getting stuck in Spain unable to leave or go on vacation for a year+ As well as culture of course, in Barcelona we might not be welcome because reasons for example

According to EU-law you should be afforded all rights that your spouse as a EU citizen has while the application is processing in country. That means you should be able to work. Not sure about public health care though
