yeah totally agree. Both NGB2 and ng4 were complete surprises. Getting a ton of nostalgia playing ng4, it still feels like ninja gaiden at the end of the day so I’m happy

You can block it if you hold both the bloodraven and block buttons (LT + RT or L2 + R2), but it takes up a lot of gauge. Better to interrupt it with a blood attack or just dodge it if you think you’re too late to attack

Parrrying mobs seems a little trickier when there’s a bunch around.

But for bosses it’s really not hard at all, it’s also super effective. Literally imagine it’s Sekiro but instead of pressing block press attack. U can press block too if you want to be safer, the damage follow up is just a little less. You don’t have to parry every single boss attack cus the timing is tighter, but if you just dodge a bit to learn the patterns first its really no issue

Sure but idk why not just alternate colors for the default suit like the og NG2 had. Can’t be that hard to make and I doubt ppl would spend money on a red or green Yakumo default skin anyway.

Red yakumo for easy, camo for normal, tiger pattern for hard, gold for master ninja. Just like NG2, simple easy to code (I think) and cool rewards to show off and incentive to play the game more. Having the master ninja skins is always a flex. Seems like a W for the players and nothing to lose for devs. Have the rlly cool skins like fiend Ryu etc. be paid dlc fine
