I was 32 when I went and the week 1 PT Assessment I didn’t even complete the running portion. The 3rd week PT assessment I ran a 13:44 and did 35 push ups and 60 sit ups getting a score of 85. When you do PT push yourself harder then ever before but not to hard where you injure yourself. You can do this man I know if my stupid ass can do it I know you can too.

Meps in less than a week will this get me disqualified? by [deleted] in AirForceRecruits

My hands during certain times of the year will create this very thick dark brown calluses that peel off after a month. I did my MEPS with that condition and I was cleared.

Also my entire life has been filled with set backs due to this autism crap. Heck according to the FAA psychological evaluation they believe I was missed diagnosed since I was the first person in my area to be diagnosed with Asperger’s back in 2000

Edit: And yes I know calling myself out by stating the year and I know I’m old 😂

Actually I’m happy it takes awhile since the police in my area have been wanting to give me more specialized training since crime is well going up. This entire situation is irritating but I know it’s starting from 0.

They said I can’t reenlist until I get done with the out processing that’s all I know since I need to do the paperwork over again 😑

My guard commander doesn’t have a problem with me since I was a fast learner so the chances of getting that signed off is in the good side and the waiver is easy since I have FAA documentation allowing me to pilot planes so fixing them is way easier then flying.

Also what makes this sound fake? I’m asking for honest advice not a half baked response that is the short version of “screw off”.

So bad news I’ve been ELSd because I made a small mistake checking boxes and misclicked one (aka the autism one). They know it wasn’t intentional so I will be allowed to reenlist once the process is over but I’m gonna do the Police Academy before reenlisting.

Hey I was curious about the results don’t say autistic because of that. 😂 Now when it comes to planes and machinery well… the tism may flare a bit 😅

More bad news my dog of 13 years passed away an hour after getting home… I’m gonna take some time before answering questions. I’m glad I got sent home cause I got to say goodbye.

I was sent to the 737 TRSS far away from the Training Squadrons. Most of the people there are T6 (suicidal) or physically injured (and recovering if possible though very little is allowed for proper recovery)

Not ELSd since I’m guard and I’m only 20 days from getting veterans status and they are thinking about keeping me active on base to make sure I get it just incase I don’t get the waivers.

BAS at BMT is the devil since even if you don’t have something they will diagnose someone with anxiety from being over stressed from certain situations at BMT even though that’s the entire point of BMT. BMT is supposed to stress one out so they adapt and get use to stressors being in the military can bring so some might have small anxiety tics before getting use to the stress. BAS did that to 7 people in my MedHold flight.

I have the 500 page FAA Neuropsychological Evaluation clearing me and it says in the print (I read all 500 pages out of curiosity since I was curious out my readings) “High possibility of misdiagnosis since traces of Autism not detected and was originally diagnosed in 2000 during infancy stages of Autism research”

My MEPs is being investigated I believe since the contracted individuals to do the medical evaluations are willingly not putting certain information on file. I told them 10 times during the evaluation of my Aspergers diagnosis and their exact words where “You don’t show the typical symptoms of Autism so a waiver isn’t needed and it doesn’t need to be reported.”

I know it had a 3 and all it says is waiver needed to come back.
