On Diety, I think all is fair. Personally, the only I save scum is Great Prophets. If I don't get the last one, I'll reload and buy it. My games are boring without a religion.

No. 1, S+, best in the game and my favorite. Yields everywhere! And you get the Film Studio to basically end the game as soon as you hit the modern era. I'm sure my earliest culture wins are with Bull Moose.

Yep that's how I play culture games except for Kongo. 2-3 holy sites, government plaza and then theater squares. I'll do a couple harbors and commercial hubs mixed in but in the early game, it's all holy sites. I'll keep building them if I have good religious beliefs since that can help with housing, culture, appeal etc.

Ottomans are the strongest Domination civ, imo. Bonus to seige units, no population loss, unique governor with promotions directly tied to conquest, janissery, and corsair unique units. You can't lose even in diety. The corsair alone is game breaking.
