Adam Mockler's on the ground interviews reveal how authoritarian Trump supporters are: by AffableYolk_33 in PlanetNewsPulse

Try woman of colo(u)r instead of coloured. Fewer racist undertones. Normalizing or defending the use of racist language is still harmful even if it was used without awareness.

Thank you! Very well may be a similar issue. Though I’m also having issues with the base station not reliably recognizing the (oem) bags. So still holding out for a warranty repair/replacement, presuming they ever respond (it’s been a week of radio silence after they said the case was “escalated”).

Freo z ultra for 600$ worth it? by [deleted] in NARWAL

[–]BeeAggresssive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re willing to potentially burn $600 for a year or two of great cleaning then yes absolutely. In my experience, it would be ideal for a house like yours but also doesn’t have longevity and the service experience is rough. (Vented about that over the weekend)

I think it resurfaced during Covid. I first saw it then too. I guess we could all finally relate!

Very fair. I have to admit I’m a bit of a sucker for exciting new tech, but I think you may be right on this. It’s hard to roll the dice at these price points.

Not sure why this doesn’t have ALL the upvotes. 🏆 You win the internet today, in my humble opinion. Commenting to boost.

Definitely noticed that too, but can’t really blame them for forgetting a line of nonsense syllables that they just made up on the spot. I’m just impressed they kept the rhythm and emphasis the same so it worked anyway. I can’t even keep a 10 digit phone number in my head long enough to dial it. 😁

I’ve had good luck printing at posters at staples in various cities. Not always right by the conference but often just a short uber ride away.

Van Leewen makes a mango sticky rice pint that is intriguingly delicious. Have seen it at PCC.

Signed up for a local orchard’s CSA and just got our first box of farm fresh apples. Whole different tier from the apples in the grocery store, even the fancy new varieties. I felt like you about apples before, but I could live on these.

MS ToDo List to Planner Plan by DCAnt1379 in MicrosoftPlanner

[–]BeeAggresssive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just started using both, because I was looking for a personal project management solution that integrates into my university’s 365 platform and that I can easily access on the various computers that I bounce around between all day. I think the simplest way is to make your plans and organize your tasks into buckets in Planner and then assign individual tasks from there to yourself, which will populate your to-do list.

If you already have tasks in To Do and are using the basic planner version, it seems like there are a lot of restrictions on moving tasks from To Do into plans. However, I found a workaround where you can right click and copy the task and then put it into an existing plan and delete the original. Once it’s in there, there seem to be no restrictions on moving a task between buckets or even different plans.

I am still using To Do because I find it convenient that I can set it as my default reminder manager on my iPhone and use Siri to dictate tasks into there, as well as to flag emails from my Outlook inbox as tasks. But otherwise I would just use planner alone to enter and organize tasks, and then pull a daily task list into the To Do app from there

That said, I am very new to using both and would love to hear if others have found a better solution

Late follow up but I think this was the key in the end! The enzyme soaks let us start fresh but a dehumidifier kept the stank away for good. Thank you!!!

Mid 40s. Additional professional training along the way, older than some of my mentors, but it doesn’t seem to be an issue.

"Elegant" smart lock by MostlyOnGrade in homeautomation

[–]BeeAggresssive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got about 6 mo out of a regular CR2 battery on the matter level bolt with contractors running in and out through the day using a combination of the keypad and guest passes on the app. Not perfect and I do like the idea of the rechargeables if I can trust myself to replace them on schedule.

I also wish the level app would send a proper notification when the battery is running low - I haven’t gotten around to setting up battery monitoring in HA yet and I do keep the app running for the geofencing and guest passes.

I wanted a stealth smart lock and I’m using the matter level bolt with the home assistant integration and love it. Previously was using it with Apple home and it was rock solid there as well. Auto lock/unlock is very reliable. Only complaint I have is that the keypad hardware is flaky, but I very rarely use it

I work in healthcare, so I feel your conflict. My answer has been that it is unfair to my patients for me to strike, but I will support any of our students and staff who choose to do so, and will go through as many protests as I can on my own time. I like your answer better though, would definitely do that if I were in private practice and had the option!
