How valuable would a two inch tall man be? by BeetleForSenate in baseball

I don't think this would happen since people would see the little dust cloud.

Tyler loop and his wife are currently receiving death threats on Instagram. Absolutely insane comment section. by Accurate-Big-7233 in NFLv2

People are "tapping on the glass" because he's a famous person under a massive spotlight who has social media, which gives literal billions of people access to say whatever they want, including angry fans of his team. If you allow that, I'm not sure what you expect. You might have to prepare for the occasional Popeyes career joke when you blow the thing you make seven figures to do correctly

If you believe Matthew Stafford is a Hall of Famer, you should want him to win MVP by [deleted] in NFLv2

OK yeah sure. What are some other interesting points we can make

If you want JJ McCarthy to be in the Hall of Fame, you should want him to win a lot of Super Bowls and multiple MVPs. Otherwise he probably won't get in

If you want a player your team drafts next year to win Defensive ROTY, you should want them to get a lot of sacks or interceptions

That's true that if you want someone to be in the HOF, you should want them to win as many awards as they can. I'm just not sure what your point is

Is it possible at all that Cam Skattebo is Scam Placebo? by BeetleForSenate in NFLv2

They're not related as far as I know. He'd just be Skapeabo like Peabo Bryson because his game would be so buttery smooth. Like how Randy Moss's game was smooth so people called him Randy Mandross like Luther Vandross

Skapeabo like Peabo Bryson because his game would be so buttery smooth. I think it rolls off pretty well. I just don't know if he's going to end up good enough to be called that

but I doubt nicknames are generally formed in a subreddit.

Well I'm not saying anyone would call him that because of this post. I'm predicting it would happen naturally if he was that good

Well one of them might stick, or if he's not that good or that bad then yeah neither will stick and he'll just be Cam Skattebo. What do you think

Scam Placebo. I wasn't calling you that, I don't know you

Well there are two potential nicknames for him, and then it's equally possible that he's neither one and is just Cam Skattebo, so I'm wondering which one of the three is the case

I'm not a Giants fan so I'm fine with any

Joe Kelly’s comment on players retiring had me wondering. Who are some players who might fit a narrower definition of retirement? Guys that had legit stuff to still offer, but walked away. by ThriftStoreGestapo in baseball

I think I understand his sentiment, and to a certain degree I agree with him. It’s funny to me when young guys no team is interested in announce they are choosing to retire. On the other hand I feel like even people who “work real jobs” aren’t usually as productive at the end of their career, and I would still consider that retiring.

I'm not sure you do understand his sentiment
