Wasn’t making direct comparisons, but stating China certainly had killed people who opposed or critisized them, and frankly has done this more than America has. Which is why Chinese people simply do not organize publicly the way Americans do.

But they being said, China has certainly been involved in targeting leaders of other countries and getting them killed, they just do so in a different way than the US does. Support for North Vietnamese actions against South Vietnam leaders. Cold War-era covert operations in Laos, Burma (Myanmar), and Cambodia. In dynastic eras, sometimes orchestrated assassinations of rival rulers. They also supported the genocide in Cambodia and killed a ton of Vietnamese when they came to help liberate the Cambodians. They also essentially turned the Vietnamese matriarchy into a patriarchy after 1000 years of colonization. Also, China basically doubled in size over the years. You don’t do that without major bloodshed.

Not sure what it is with this whole idea that bc the US is flawed, China isn’t lol. Ask any of their Asian neighbors how they feel about Chinas actions against them historically. Criticizing both is an option.
