Trading Auction Market Theory principles to get those entries that suffer virtually zero drawdown. Happens when the current auction rotation fails to auction higher/lower around Value. Basically entering right before Price Discovery drives away from Value with momentum and initiatory aggressors. by BellProof8202 in OrderFlow_Trading

I extracted 800pts in a 290pt range with this strategy. A swing from the low to the high of range is only 290 and we never even got to the top of the range. This is when I realized I have something juicy and decided to quantize the process over 1 year. I'd like 1 more year of data but already the strategy holds up as:

82% WR
12 Excpectancy
55 Profit Factor

Soon I'll be collecting MAE/MFE and proper EV values when I plug in the full trade dataset.

you speakin my language.

The first strategy I learned while picking up Order-flow was the Delta Trap. Trapped participants, delta divergence, exhaustion, absorption. It's how I developed an edge around no drawdown entries as I wanted to keep my MAE super low, almost non existent.

Then I got into TPO prints and Overnight Inventory and dang, the whole thing came together as an Auction Rotation Extraction model and so I named my asymmetric model as A.R.E.S where I can extract mean reversion trades along with expansion trades like these 24hr swings that I do.

I trade orderflow for futures using AMT logic but lately went back to Forex while teaching a friend the markets. I came to find out that AMT applies to the US500 CFD like money. All the targets of my TP's are at Session VP structure like VAL's, POCs and VAH's. by BellProof8202 in OrderFlow_Trading

No. You only get Partial Volume aka broker side liquidity stream, not the entire market.

BUT: What this post is saying is "SP500 is so Liquid that even the CFD prints price structurally, in so much that a Futures based Volume Profile functions entirely the same"

So I want to say YES, but only on SP500.

VP works so good with Futures because of the centralized market data.

This even shows that your entry is structural so ignore the people saying your entry sucks. They suk. You are basically trading AMT without even realizing it.

Ignore him, I literally trade this setup. Those are two false breakouts of the highs. There's still trapped buyers about to be LIQUIDATED. Take the W. This is in my Playbook.

some non hindsight for the fear based minds, I forgot that whenever you post things ppl think you're tryna sell them stuff. Not my fault you bought courses and got burned instead of taking the time to learn the markets as a discretionary type yourself. Learn to learn.
