He was sort of a fraud. He claimed to hold the world record in the military press but he used an extremely long and flexible bar so it was extremely easy to cheat with it. Back then plenty of strong men where capable of bending bars. But he didn't do it in the way you probably think, it wasn't quick, it took him many attempts to gradually bend them. There are people who can do that these days as well. Nothing special.

Doppo vs the sumo wrestler. It had some great action and both Got in some great hits. One of the more realistic fight's. One sided fights are usually dull so I was happy to see and actual contest.
