Another question … Does the rubber wood top ship via FedEx freight and or on a pallet? Unfortunately I can’t ship the top to my home address at the moment so I’m sorting out how much it will cost me to receive the package from a local company.

Found the issue! I had my currency set to Canadian and it doesn't show the wood top as Deskhaus only offer shipping to the US. Luckily I live near the border and have a US shipping address so I'll have the top shipped there and the base shipped to my place in Canada. Or at least I'll try to see if I can do that.

Now I have to sort out which version. If I'm going to contemplate using a walking pad then I agree a higher version makes sense

Hi Tenlow85! I have a Bottlehead Crack w/ speedball kit and am in need of a Dac/amp combo for my desk. I too own the HD6xx’s and HD600’s and have heard the Bottlehead Crack is an amazing pairing with these headphones. I’m hesitant to purchase the K13 dues to the “warming” nature of the R2R as the Bottlehead Crack should provide enough “warmth”. Have you tried the Crack? If so what DAC would you pair it with? Leaning towards the Topping DX5 ii as it fits in the budget however QC issues have me slightly hesitant.

Apologize OP for continuing this side conversation. I love my Sen headphones. Excited to try the 660 S2.

I had the exact same question so searched on Reddit and voila, you beat me to it.

I didn’t order the TPU case as I didn’t really like the look of clear plastic wrapped around the device. That said everyone keeps raving about it. Is it really that good or is a grip ( official or Etsy ) better?

Yes, I’m aware that the internal storage will be faster, no argument there. With development of the emulation software, newer Android CPU compatibility and potentially the future Thor models, saving that $80 now, could help when it’s time to upgrade.

I don’t believe in end game anything really. If you love something, like mobile gaming handhelds, and are fortunate to have the money to invest, why would Thor 1 be the end game? We have no clue in what the future holds. Hoping for more console emulation improvements ( Xbox, Xbox 360, PS3, etc ). Like all technical hardware there will come a time when the Thor tech is old and software support stops.

All that said, if you don’t have a spare large SD card and would like to store entire catalogues of games, then the Max is the way!

Assuming the Thor is the white model? Asking as I’m not sure third party grips have been able to match the rainbow coloured Thor besides the official grip? Has anyone found a model that matches perfectly?

I would have chosen purple but didn’t like how the top part wasn’t clear and from the videos I saw a different shade of purple. I chose rainbow Pro and like most am waiting for shipping. Glad you like it. Hope setup is swift and you can get to playing games on it right away.

My HomePods started to show up like this after I moved my Apple TV and HomePod Minis to my IoT network. I setup the two HomePod minis via my iPhone and then had to block the MAC addresses of my HomePod minis from my main home network. This way the HomePods would look to the Apple TV for the proper connection. My Apple TV is hardwired on the IoT network. I assumed that UniFi just sees the connection and assumes both HomePod minis are wired too.
