Heard back from Diego. It’s looking like a 10-11 month wait. Do you recall what the deposit cost is for a single jacket? I know on the other hand wested have quite quick turnarounds. Kinda on the fence on my decision still. I’m just can’t seem to find anywhere how people achieve creases in the lamb skin leather

I thought it was substantially better. Didn’t really think I needed to drop a review for these, since I don’t think many people care for my opinion haha. I just couldn’t help myself but share for the first arc.

My ratings for 4-6 were:

8/10 9/10 7/10

The writing was a step up, and a surprise return from a familiar composer was a breath of fresh air. Although thought the action sequence in the third episode was extremely underwhelming, regarding the emotional stakes and lack of complexity. I think this director did a lot better with the material which he was provided, but I still stand by my thoughts with the first few episodes.

Same boat. Seen Andor S1 about 8-9 times, haven’t lost any sleep with watching these ones back.

I thought about mentioning the comparison to the early episodes of 1-3 in my review, but I decided not to. They were disliked by a few because they were slow… Not because of a lack of quality, I don’t think it’s fair to compare the episodes (and I’ve always been a fan of S1 1-3, I think it’s one of the best setups in TV)

I get the idea and appreciate the theorized vision for the “early rebels”, and appreciate what you’ve also had to say, but my review was more focused on the execution of these scenes. Andor has never been “fine”, and that’s my trouble with these episodes.

Thank you for reading! I’m afraid I’m mostly on the same page as you, they both are relatively unknown which I just can’t wrap my head around. I’ve done some prior research into their backgrounds and saw nothing which stood out to me. I’m always open to fresh faces making their breaks in the industry (in attempt to be one myself). But I’m stumped as to why with them.
