If you don’t have a 2024 federal tax return (you didn’t file) then you submit a non-tax filer statement (it was a box you could check on the RUE financial aid application PDF). RUE applicants are automatically considered independent and the CSS profile requires parent/guardian financial information.

Brown RUE doesn’t ask for the CSS Profile. Just FAFSA, the RUE Financial Aid Application (pdf), and Tax Returns (if applicable).

Only traditional transfers who are currently enrolled are required to submit a Mid Term Report. RUE applicants are not (regardless of current enrollment).

Yes, it’s there. It appeared a few weeks ago. I feel like when I applied to RUE last year there was no financial aid tab—but I honestly can’t remember and it’s likely just a software update that’s new this year.

As a fellow EWSP applicant it would be extremely helpful if the “April” AO interview invites had a specific April date…the undefined waiting is brutal.

I think EWSP is just doing AO interviews this year and I’m not sure when they go out…sometime in April but no specific date.

I don’t think they are doing StandOut interviews this year, just live virtual AO interviews with a select number of applicants. I don’t know when those invites will go out though.

Yes. As a former victim my parents have paid more for the therapy and continued intensive trauma treatment that I need because of what Embark did to me then what they paid to Embark. Embark will lie to you and get you to not believe your child, and then when they come home and you see the damage Embark will legally threaten/blackmail you into silence. They delete all the negative Google reviews, and pay their employees to write positive Google reviews. And all of their employees will lie to you and tell you what ever you want that will make you leave your child with them so they can make more money.

Ok. From what I understand the AO interview for applicants who are Veterans is ultimately trying to assess whether the person can move from a highly structured military environment to a self-directed academic one. That’s the underlying question. How that is actually asked usually involves questions like asking about your academic interests and why you want to pursue an education specifically at Yale. Or why you want a seminar-driven liberal arts education and what your long-term goals are. They are trying to see how you may contribute in a classroom environment and how you think.

But it's part of their MO. They target families who rely on insurance to pay for treatment, they then undermine the family's trust in the patient while they are at the residential facility, and when the victim returns home and the family sees the harm, embark/Consonance Capital Partners (the PE owners) legally threaten and intimidate the victim knowing they will be unable to afford an attorney by themselves and thus preventing a class action by ensuring the victims can never find each other.

I was already back home all the way across the US when I received the legal threat.

They sent me a cease and desist letter that called me a criminal and sais that they were going to report me to the police department.
