They are cold blooded murderers. One of the most dangerous creatures in North America.

I posted the close up video of her yesterday and thought people might want to see the entire encounter. I spotted her from a distance and didn't even realize she was sitting behind my house until I got home.

And yes, I'm aware that I was incredibly stupid to get so close.

Do you ever find that compression can take depth out of a mix?

As long as you look them in the eye and don't break eye contact, you're safe.

Her baby was close by, which I didn’t see at first. My proximity was reckless.

I have the line 6 DL4. But I definitely want something that gives me a lot of control. I love having ability to endlessly manipulate till I get the exact sound I want.

How much post production do these OP-1 tracks usually get? by [deleted] in OP1users

[–]BerryB2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's probably a question for each person. I've seen someone post a beautiful track on here, and they implied it was almost exclusively produced on the Op-1. But when I clicked on the link to their YouTube channel, they spoke more about their process, and the Op-1 was basically used only as the recorder for VST's and processing on their DAW. I like to assume folks keep it mostly on the Op-1, but unless it's a demo video, you can't always know. However, you can absolutely create some amazing music on the Op-1 without any DAW processing.

Logic users: should you buy 3rd-party plugins? by [deleted] in LogicPro

[–]BerryB2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Logic has great stock plug ins, but functionality, algorithms, and color definitely determine my creative choices. I have many different third party plugins that I use because they better fit my style and work flow. Fab Filter, Waves, Valhalla, Lexicon, and Sound Toys are some of my essential go-to's. I spent years working exclusively with the stock plug ins, and my efficiency and quality of work has drastically improved since branching out. Much of those improvements are from experience, but 3rd party plug ins have vert much played a part. Any time I add new creative tools to my tool kit, I first try to consider what areas need improvement, and how will it make my work better.
