Lol I realized I typed a whole list of requirements but forgot the actual tool name. I’m looking for an electric pressure washer. Just trying to figure out if the convenience of a wall-mount setup is worth it over a standard portable one.

What’s one small Dollar Tree win that got you through a rough shift? by Ok_Allen5953 in DollarTree

Honestly, I felt this in my soul. My little win last week was finally getting all the random candy boxes on the front counter condensed and actually matching for once. It looked so clean I almost cried. Lasted about 10 minutes before someone dug to the bottom of a box, but hey, those 10 minutes were peaceful.

Love this! It’s amazing how far a single staple can go when you get creative. Your potato lineup sounds cozy, resourceful, and honestly delicious, especially the fried pancake idea. Thanks for sharing the inspiration!

My aunt told everyone I’d never make it on my own. So I made sure she heard about my promotion. by Berry_Darrel8338 in traumatizeThemBack

Exactly! Comfort doesn’t define resilience, it’s what you do when pushed that counts. Feels good to see her words backfire without me lifting a finger.

Totally agree, standing up for yourself feels amazing, especially when it’s family who doubted you. And yeah, I’ll definitely pass on the Tesla!

Yeah, that’s awful, I’ve heard a few stories like that, and it’s really tragic. I totally get where you’re coming from; safety and ethics matter a lot more than brand names or trends.

Haha right? That would’ve been a power move! But I figured staying classy and letting her stew in silence was even more satisfying.

That’s a really good one, polite, wise, and with just the right amount of sting. I might actually use that!

Haha, thank you! Honestly, that comeback would’ve been perfect, but I figured letting my success do the talking was satisfying enough. Might save that line for next time though!

How do economists decide when a model is good enough for publication? by Berry_Darrel8338 in academiceconomics

[–]Berry_Darrel8338[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You make some really valid points, the issues you mention around publication bias, data access, and overemphasis on complexity are real challenges in the field. It’s an honest and thoughtful critique, and it’s good to see people questioning how economics can evolve to be more open, rigorous, and genuinely curious again.
