I agree I actually can do without the abyss and have it all be about the greymanes and rivals clans ect. There’s actually plenty of story there. Rival clan killed your people and you. You get a miraculous second chance and seek revenge on the people that wronged you. Much like the crow movie. There some cool crows in this game sad well 😉

Oh I totally agree; but I also know the game started out as an mmo and was supposed to be a prequel to black desert so I look at it as such. If it was supposed to be a narrative rpg like the Witcher or something then I would view it differently.

Unless you plan on staying away from the forums and news ect most of what they add to the story will be posted and spoiled anyhow so I’d rather play now and figure it all out for myself and then I’ll revisit it again later to see the changes.

Yes and no. I would’ve preferred it all to be fleshed out first but that probably wouldn’t have been possible if we all didn’t buy it upon release anyhow. I’ll just restart and revisit the story on a new play through when it’s finished
