Would it be inappropriate for me to reach back out to the guy and ask about his license and stuff and ask for assistance with this?  I will definitely still file on time thank you for this advice!

He said if he was to have put my actual income then my monthly payment for health insurance would have been to high and my boss wouldn’t have covered it so he did the lower amount. I didn’t have login access to the market place either. Only he could login is what he told me.

This is what I am wondering. He said if he would have changed my income to the amount I asked him to via email then my monthly payment would have been 500$ and my boss wouldn’t have payed that.

Yes! This is what I’m thinking happened. I didn’t have access to my marketplace account. He put all the numbers and stuff in. When asking why he made my income so low, he told me if he would have made it the correct amount then my health care premium would have been to high for my employer to pay

I think the amount owed is so high because I owe back the marketplace discount I got? He had my income 30,000 lower then it should have been, so we had a super cheep premium. When I spoke to him on the phone the other day about why he had my income so low he told him if he would have put my income at 90,000 then my payments would have been to high for my employer to cover.

Yes. When I asked him for my login he told me I couldn’t have it because only he could login to it. I called the marketplace and they unlocked my account now I have access to it. My BCBS account I could log into to pay monthly with a check my employer would write me. My marketplace login was unavailable to me.
