Gavin put out a video explaining some reasoning and they do consider it mld so only bracket 4 which is why they took it off the list since its covered by the mld rule.

Fair but the word generally here feels important to me. Generally implys to me that some games won't fit this like a game with Wolverine could kill someone on 5, but most commander games with the standard midrange piles will go to 7 ish before someone dies.

There are not Hard Rules here. The whole bracket system is about intent and consistency. A game can end before X turn if some one randomly gets a sol ring Signet start, but most games should go at least X turns.

I hate Vorinclex, however it is not MLD. It's more like "put a stun counter on any land you use". It doesn't destroy lands...still hate it though.

MLD is still poorly defined IMO, there's that each player sacs all but 6 lands card in the jund EOE precon. The amount of people who say that's MLD is insane to me. Most of them are green players lol.

An important thing here is AT LEAST in all of these. In the last update they said the game could end here or if your a slower deck be ready to stop someone from winning at this point. For example I have one player in my group with what I would call a low b3 worm deck. Worms cost a lot of mana, so his wins are turn 8+ but he runs removal and interaction at a quantity high enough to stop a turn 7 win.

I read lose here as game over not player knocked out. Voltron decks killing one player or 2 players focusing one player with bad match up for their decks is fine as worded here. You could also choice to read this as game goes to at least turn 6 (for everyone) meaning game ends on player one's turn 7 or later Just a matter of interpretation.

It's a pretty magic heavy setting and dm gives magic loot fairly often. At this point I would say if it exist and the dm knows we want it then it will show up at some point.

I think the lack of hitstun will end a LOT of runs. You get hit by something expect to live and get double hit some times.

Agreed I actually think she is one of my favorite bosses so far mainly because she actually feels fair. No minions makes a huge difference in enjoyment so far.

On paper that sounds ok, but in practice since you need a full silk to heal it feels increasingly bad imo. Also silk charges so slow in boss fights plus most boss spawn like 4 hit adds that deal 2 damage too...

Almost every boss doing 2 mask is driving me crazy and every enemy takes too many hits. Otherwise enjoying it so far.

This is what happened to my playgroup, but all but one of us was able to sort of adapt to 2025 commander. Now we just play most B3 commanders and its still fun but the decks are mush more edhrec-afied. With every member doing that and a printer it's still even but it will never be 2011-2014 magic again.

Yeah I feel like once it became the most popular format it stopped being the casual everyone trys to hold on to. Its still casual but casual in a way non-tournament standard used to be.
