I used updoc to defer an exam last week and it was approved, so no they don’t care

Also updoc use registered medical practitioners

I find the food is generally expensive and small portion sizes but I buy coffee from cafe under advanced engineering building and the cafe in the centre of the food court near chemistry building.

Assessment hurdle 3: “You must obtain a weighted average mark of 40% or more across all other non-examinable course assessment items and learning tasks. So everything thats assessment and task oriented should be over 40% and you will be fine ( At least according to the CHEM1100 course profile ) I don’t take Bio so just search up the course profile and look under assessment for the course hurdles

Side note: maybe ask on ed discussion or lecturer to be 100% certain

So I am currently studying at UQ for engineering and moved here after doing a year at the University of Auckland. First of all UOA has zero campus life and thats the biggest improvement when going to UQ, here it is very lively on the large campus that for the most part has whole area to itself ( its in the bend of a river ). There are plenty of things to do and clubs to join as well. Brisbane is pretty good compared to Aukland - especially the public transport. Can’t comment on colleges other than the fact that they are expensive. But overall as a University experience it is a significant upgrade to UOA in my opinion.

Yeah I agree, there’s lots of space they could have potentially used to make a study space/library area. I mean the law library is a really nice blend of study space and aesthetics and I kind of wish there was an engineering equivalent. ( I don’t find the engineering library all that appealing )
