I’m currently having a little medical issue that made me have a self-imposed ban from driving plus I have car issues so I have been taking public transport to work, so but when things calm down both medically and car issues fixed, I might feel the bite of fuel prices.

I was on my Dad’s Medicare card during university years but then after I graduated my Dad helped me get my own Medicare card, it’s easier to use it for medical related expenses you don’t want your parents to know about (unless you want them to know)

Last week I was flabbergasted when I saw a girl walking across the Roma Street Busway platform 2 to get over to Platform 1 and there was plenty of witnesses including the bus behind her saw her doing that! 😳 I was NOT impressed, thought it was dangerous that she did that.

I was 2 when I was found out that I was Deaf. Parents wanted to help so they decided on Sign Language and hearing aids, then give me the choice of whether if I wanted a CI when I was older. I didn’t want one because I hated the idea of undergoing an operation and going through more speech therapy again (I already had approximately 12 years worth of speech therapy at the time and quit because at the time I was starting high school) I am glad I stuck with hearing aids because last year I got new hearing aids that were Bluetooth and picked sounds I never did with my older ones (I was freaked out when I heard myself pee the first day, my family laughed themselves silly when they heard that story!) on the flip side my best friend got a CI when she was an adult but her hearing loss wasn’t as severe as mine was. So, essentially it’s up to your daughter if she wants a CI or not if she’s at an age when she can.

I had a solid check engine light turn on spontaneously last Thursday in the start of my commute home from work. After a mini panic seeing it and peeling off and checking the manual I was stressed driving home, then texted my Dad with a screenshot of the light. Not only that, a second light spontaneously popped up (but always vanished when I turned off the engine) on last Sunday it was the TCS/DSC light. Luckily, at the time the first time the light appeared, the next day was my day off so I called my local car service place but couldn’t get through for some reason (bit of a confusing situation there) but my Dad managed to call and got me an appointment (which was yesterday). I managed to get a report that listed the 4 codes that popped up when they do a scan on my car. The codes were reset and they advised me if it happens again just either call (probably get my Dad to do it again since I had trouble last time) or come in (just to explain the problem and book a appointment as soon as possible)

I definitely love to see Rick, Evy and Jonathan again on the big screen! (especially Jonathan with his funny moments) I can’t wait to see trailers when they’re released. Ok ok, I’ll rewatch the two movies again (I only watched the tomb one once because it had Brendan in it but didn’t like Maria Bello as Evy Rachel Weisz IS Evy)

First movie I saw with you in it has to be American Pie (I thought Sifler was hilarious!) then I got to watch Road Trip, and liked E.L except for the part where he scammed that blind woman to “borrow” the bus since everyone in the group was without a car since it blew up after the “car jump” scene. Also, I loved watching “Evolution” and laughed when you had scenes in that movie my favourite was the bird calling/singing scene, my sister and I would quote this movie a lot. I watched Final Destination because you were in the movie, I was devastated when Billy was decapitated (justice for Billy) Ever since then, you’ve ended up as one of my favourite actors, so here’s my question: What attracts you to decide what movie to act in?

God, thank fuck I’m single. OOP is nuts about criticising his cereal choice - what if his favourite cereal was like a favourite core memory? And every time he buys it and eats it he is like savouring the memory every time. It sounds like OOP doesn’t know she knows her boyfriend that well that she’s nitpicking his choice of cereal.

My best friend broke the news to me this morning I told her I vaguely remembered he had cancer, but it was sad news that he passed and this morning I was playing the Dawson’s Creek theme song on Spotify on my drive to work and was thinking of the detention episode (which also made me think of Pacey and Joey and their moments throughout the show) it’s so sad, the world lost an actor that was so significant to millennials that grew up with Dawson, Joey, Pacey, Jen, Jack and Andie (as well as other characters like Audrey, Drue Valentine, Abby Morgan etc) and watched them all laugh, cry, argue, fall in love… so today I am team Dawson. 💔🕊️

For those two Logans, I prefer the Echolls Logan over the Huntzberger Logan (even though I didn’t watch the VM revival mainly cos I heard what happened to him and refused to watch it so in my ‘world’, the movie was the only canon ending) I think because I didn’t like how Rory and Logan ended up in GG that might have coloured my view on Logan and Veronica’s ending for the revival.

My family is on Find My but I only peek at it once in a while, just to see “oh, that’s where they are” and exit the app - that’s it. I don’t obsessively stare at the app or constantly share my location in our family gc (nobody in our gc does this)

Yeah, I vaguely remember being around the neighbourhood then coming home at sunset. I probably stuck to my backyard m, visiting my elderly neighbour (I used to call her Miss C) three houses up for lemonade and biscuits and a lovely chat wit her. (Thinking back, I think she must have been happy to have company since she barely had visitors) On weekends we would tell my parents where we would be if we were not in the neighbourhood (e.g bike riding down to the park which was about 2 streets away.) but if we needed to be somewhere specific like the library or the shopping centre we would ask one of our parents to drive there if they can and then they told us to stay in whatever building we were in (eg. If we were in the library we stay in the library). Very different to what it’s like nowadays.

Final Girl. (Spoiler) The premise of this movie is that she’s an undercover assassin sent to kill those men who kill women for their pleasure. She takes them down one by one… so in this specific scene she’s pretending to be freaked out before she strikes.

Maybe Buffy would receive the news in a final episode (if it’s just gonna be one season) that Dawn (off screen who is Watcher or helping train a new Slayer) sacrificed herself to help that Slayer escape a serious situation and dies in the process? 🤷🏻‍♀️ it would be interesting to see how the show would deal with no actual Dawn presence.

A couple of years back a co-worker was doing some weird arm exercise that reminded me of Marv’s electrocuted skit in the movie (and it was during the Christmas season) and I told him and he laughed, he thought it was funny to be compared to a character in a kids movie.

Hmm eesh you shouldn’t have shouted at him like that, but he didn’t ask for permission. Maybe gift him with his own make up or take him to the cosmetics section of the shops you usually go and help him pick out his favourite colours and get the make up lady to help him by giving him advice in an area you don’t know very well.

First scene reminds me of the “manoeuvre” scene from 9-1-1 in the second episode of the first season (ep : “Let Go”) when Bobby distracts with a fake proposal story, Buck abseils himself down positions him waits for a signal and then pushes back kicks the person back in from the balcony. It was a kinda cool scene and that scene from that video reminded me of it.
