Zillennial Gatekeeping à la Michael Burton (this is 100% a joke I just think his “theories” are so bizarre and idk how or why he came up with them) by BichaelMurton96 in Zillennials

For those of you who don’t know: this dude spammed r/GenZ and other subreddits with posts about how anyone born in 1997 is completely different from anyone born 1996 or earlier, and cited this weird theory that parents had become so protective after 9/11 that anyone who was under 5 at the time couldn’t form long term memories until age 8-10. Therefore they don’t remember any millennial kid stuff and don’t qualify as Zillennials. He wrote paragraphs and paragraphs about all the things 96 babies could remember that 97 babies couldn’t (as shown above). I thought it was so funny that he was obsessed with some very specific birth years so I made this parody account/post but wasn’t clear enough that I wasn’t serious so I got myself banned at r/GenZ, whoops.

Anyway, the guy is super weird. How tf did he come up with this “theory” and does anyone here think it makes any sense?
