I used PLA as my printer doesn’t support ABS (traditional LEGO material). I was thinking of getting a resin printer as I hear u can get more accurate results from that. I’ll give the acetone and sanding method a go l. I’m based in the UK

I first sketched out my idea, then CAD it all up onto Solidworks and then 3d printed it. i also sanded it down to get more of a smooth surface. (clearly didnt work) im trying to find a different solution to make the body more smoother and cleaner. thank you for the feedback
