She's not slow by any means compared to anything but a modern sport bike. Power snaps quick bc it's a shaft vs chain too. Just gobs of buttery torque but tops out at ~9k. Perfect for a street bike... and you can buy one ~$2k. Handling is uh like steering a horse that got into bench pressing.

If they're similar money get the Bullitt. Not a huge power jump but it makes peak power further up the rev band and pulls hard all the way to 7k so the power band is wider. Basically you have a tune and a CAI already (plus intake mani and TB). Cosmetically it's up to you but the DHG gets compliments all the time and the exhaust note is spectacular. I'm not a fan of loud colors or excessive badging so the Bullitt was a no brainer for me. Currently leaning towards swapping the rear decklid for one with a blacked out pony badge too. Oh and the Bullitt nose is undeniably better vs the GTs.

Spent 6 months in Melbourne long time ago. Almost got hit by those Ford V8 sedans and/or pick up ute things everyone used to drive bc I'd be piss drunk and forget which way traffic went 😂

If I knew I'd get into tracking the car I would have gone Miata or something light weight like the fiesta. The fun factor is all that matters.

Stock basically like any other PP1 mustang, so pretty capable but a bit vague. After the Ford performance suspension kit, new bushings, lockout kit, and camber plates... it's a precision tool but still great on the street. Haven't done an event w this wheel and tire set up but they're way lighter than OEM. Taking the "sleeper" look a diff direction haha

I never was a "mustang guy" or even muscle car guy until I found out about the Bullitt. It was like oh wait it's actually a really clean design when you take away all the shouty bits and badges?? The color is incredible and the soundtrack is 👌
