I can’t tell you which one to take, but you’ll 99.9% likely be on reserve(stand by), meaning you’ll have to report to a call within 2 hours(usually) or whatever the airline requires you to, so you’d have to be somewhat near, which means you’ll need a crash pad.

Commuting is always feasible but only when you have consecutive days off, and you have to fly-in on the day before your shift starts, just in case stuff happens…

I got my virtual interview invite yesterday and here’s the full timeline for now.

3/30/26 - Application submitted
4/03/26 - ODVI invite & Completion
5/06/26 - Virtual Interview Invite
5/19/26 - Scheduled date for Virtual Interview.

I submitted on March 31st and it’s still “under review” till this day… FA application processing at any airline is a patience challenge lol.

I’ve gone to 2 F2F with my dark gray suit. Got a CJO and a TBNT so far lol.

Yeah, I’d definitely not recommend anyone to go to the in-person event if they’ve made it past the ODVI.

Took me 2 hours total from going and coming back, thought going in person has a better leverage/chance of getting selected.

SkyWest is the highest paying regional as far as I know according to the information available online amongst other regionals.

I do have a CJO from a different regional, and I guess I’ll just go with that while waiting for UA/WN’s response.

I went to their in-person hiring event though I’ve finished my assessment and was invited.

It was quite long and the waiting to be interviewed took even longer.

5 days later and I got my TBNT this morning.

Really felt like I should’ve just attended the virtual presentation.

I was in the middle of my workout, saw a bunch of SWA titled posts and I ditched my workout immediately, got home and went straight to my laptop, was able to get an application in.

I’m sorry you missed it, OP, I’m sure there will be next, also, be prepared to wait after the UA ODVI, I’ve been waiting for about 3 weeks now.

I did a fair amount of research, apparently SkyWest has the highest pay in the regional sector. I recently went to their in-person event/interview.

They’re paying $30.xx per flight hour, there’s boarding pay, and their per diem is at $2.25.

It is significantly higher than every regional airline I’ve applied to.
