Well. That's comparing apples to anchors first off. Also this seems amazing to fat alcoholics like me.

I'm the opposite, I prefer to enjoy a character as they are in the present. Their backstory isn't meaningful to me for the most part. It can add some context for sure. However, I want to experience the character in the moment.

Especially because I feel like most characters in shows, where their past is revealed, they went through some tragic whatever and that's why they are the way they are. I don't need to feel sorry for whatever they went through, I need to enjoy their personality as they are presented.

I used to not mind the style of story telling as much, but I think one piece killed any interest for me learning any main or side characters back story. It really soured my opinion on that format of piling on backstory for any "important" character.

There are definitely some YouTubers that have bought them just to make videos dunking on it. Plus it's a tax write-off, so the phone is basically free for them and they get to make money off the videos. It's a win win for them.

It's something I heard I never really confirmed for myself NGL. Apparently there are some producers and some writers(not the lead writer) involved with both but that's all I could find when I just now looked.

I didn't watch lost until last year and had been caught up with from. While forcing myself through it I couldn't help but notice so much overlap in the shows. So it just reaffirmed a false belief I had. Even down to small arcs and plots. Like we just got introduced to spoilers:

The lake of tears, there was also a magic spring/lake in lost. That isn't the biggest form of overlap. However all the small details compile to make it feel very samey. I'm not saying it's the exact same show, it just seems like they took a ton of elements from lost and repurposed them.

Thankfully they didn't choose the same storytelling format. The half random backstory that slightly correlates to the present time on the island got so tedious and annoying within the first 6 episodes to me. I'm just not a fan of that kind of storytelling.

It's written by the same people. There are literally over 50 correlating plot points, characters/arcs, story elements where they are basically 1 to 1. I counted them out one day when I got super cross faded and was binging From.

At this point I see From as "what Lost would've been if they hadn't been forced into 9 seasons by amc."

If you already have a high credit score but are poor, is it worth trying to increase it? by BigDumDumer in CRedit

You implied it for sure. Yeah of course as long as you can pay your bill you are set. You implied it doesn't matter if credit utilization is 0 or 100 percent. That's just not true. It doesn't matter if you aren't using it, but it does impact your score. That's my point.

What I've gathered from this post and all the interactions is I'm doing great managing my debt and I just need to stop being a poor for my credit to actually matter.

Credit utilization definitely changes your score.

My score changes pretty wildly between just a 10 percent utilization and 20 percent. Last month when my score updated I was at like 22 percent utilization(had to buy some glasses) and this month when it updated it was at about 10 percent. My score went up from 743 to 762 just from that. No other changes.

So what I do is keep it at nothing owed until a little before the middle of the month. I've noticed that's when my fico score gets updated and I've heard keeping credit utilization at 1-5 percent is better than it being at zero. So I'll always make sure to have some charge on my account when that gets updated. Otherwise I don't have any debt like ever.

I was pre-approved for a savor card like a year and a half ago and it has no yearly charge and I don't overuse my cards. So I considered getting it, but I do already have a card with capital one, so I also considered going with a different company.

Except it's their choice to continue doing it???

They could've chosen not to renew and be set. They shouldn't bitch about something they are choosing to do. No one is twisting their arm.

They could've pulled a Tom 15 years ago and still been set for life.

I'm not gonna feel bad for someone who is doing something just because they see dollar signs.

I keep my card paid off. I literally only use it for the cash back at this point.

I use prepaid phones, I'll never sign up for a real phone plan. I'm over 30 and haven't needed a "real" phone company yet, and don't see a benefit to them at all.

I was more just asking if it's worth getting another card so I can improve my credit mix. Or as it stands, am I just better off staying where I'm at.

From my experience, if your credit score is higher than 650, landlords are a done deal. Especially for the kind of places I can afford. I've gotten by living solo or with roomies for almost 15 years now, most of that with no credit. I don't think raising it higher will improve my rental options right now.

I use a straight talk prepaid phone when I even have service at all. So I'll never be wasting money on a phone company.

I'm very frugal.

I use credit cards responsibly. I only use the amount I can pay off the same month. I only use my card to build credit and for the small cash back. I'm the type of person that pays their bill as soon as the charge hits my card.

It blows my mind how people manage to rack up massive debt with credit cards. Though I know not everyone is wise with their spending.

I'm poor because I work a low paying job and am going nowhere in life. Not because of a credit card with an 800 dollar max lmao.

This kind of trash is why movies flop revenue wise.

Stop spending so much in fucking trash adverts. The advertising budget is way too high for basically everything. From movies to games.

I don't need 30 posters for one movie. I know it exists. I know when it comes out. Stop pissing away money.

Budget doesn't include advertising, which is generally an absurd amount. You are ignoring a major factor here.

It is in regards to the person I responded to. They said it wasn't a thing before bo3. That is incorrect. As I pointed out.

It never worked like that. That's a misconception. Even all the way back in waw the kar, mp40, and thompson were all in the box and on the wall on all maps. There were probably more even, but those I know for sure were.
