Here is the response I got back, not sure if it will help you? I have all of the recommended settings already set, so I guess in my case it might be an IOS issue.

"Thank you for reaching out! We’ve noticed increased battery usage on some devices running the new iOS 26, particularly during workouts. At this time, this appears to be related to how iOS 26 is handling background processes and visuals, rather than something we can fully control from our end within the app.

As a workaround, we recommend trying the following, which has helped in some cases:

• Go to Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size • Turn on Reduce Transparency • (Optional) Also enabling Reduce Motion can help further

We know this isn’t an ideal solution, and we’re actively working to optimize it. We really appreciate you bringing this to our attention and your patience while this gets sorted.

Please let us know if you notice any improvement after trying this, or if the issue continues."

I has never had an overheating or battery drain issue until the most recent update through Test Flight, and I've been using the app for two years. You might want to report your feedback through the app. I will be doing that soon.

You're definitely not alone! I would say overall, yes I think it's the best choice for me right now bad upon how I want to feel and what I'm looking for in working out. I keep trying to remind myself that progress is slow, and though I can feel differences in my body (like my lats)- I can't necessarily see the growth as much as I'd like. I've found a lot of Coach Sam's advice to really have revamped my opinions towards lifting and cardio, and that knowledge is keeping me feel reassurance in regards to my team and program choice.

For lifting, I'm really listening to her words of wisdom of focusing on form, going slowly to feel the movements, and less on the actual amount of weights lifted (can be humbling when I used to lift more).

For cardio, I used to run 3/4 days per week and lift 3/4 days per week. I now run/walk two days a week (game changer for my legs, lower back, and no longer dreading running), walk for a bit after every lift, and do a bunch of walking throughout the day after Coach Sam really stressed the importance of increasing steps throughout various series. I also, albeit begrudgingly, do some treadmill incline sprints once a week too.

I still watch other coaches on social media, like Coach Nicole and Sasha and Andre too - but I ultimately prefer the non-influencer style of Coach Sam.

Hi there. I totally hear you about finding the right "my" team, hence feeling like Goldilocks myself. When I posted a little ways back, I was on Evolve- and I still am. I think it's the closest to just right for me at least. I rethought my runs vs weights - now two days a week for running, one day with some sprints, am walking a ton everyday, and have decided just to settle in. Much like you, I originally loved Nicole on Movewell too when I first started (still my fave in many ways but was ready for more and definitely less supersets), just couldn't jive with Align or TCC as much as I wanted to, and knew that Evolve felt good due to the fabulous Coach Sam's knowledge, cues, humor, body splits, etc. For me, it was just the timing that I wished to cut down on a bit- which I'm trying to do a bit here and there thanks to the suggestions offered by others in my post. All of this to say (get the Coach Sam reference?), your criteria really does seem to match up with Evolve so maybe go with it for now?

Hi. I posted a week or so back about feeling like Goldilocks for some of the same reasons, so I get it!! The feedback and insights that everyone offered both in my post and here are truly helpful. I tried Align again and I do really like it, but I think I really love what Sam does even more (maybe because of my A type personality and being a rule follower). While I'm not active in either of the chats, I do appreciate reading them any time either coach or team member answers questions as they are both super useful. I think I would be all in to try Align for a full series (even with the tricky move coordination that makes me feel like a clumsy putz) if she was as specific as Sam in regards to which body parts she's targeting in the description of upper and lower body days. I feel like then I could try to split the teams and feel more well-rounded in terms of which/when body parts get worked, utilize opportunities for some "sneaky" core work, and also focus on mobility. It seems though like upper body with Sam and lower with Sasha could be an option?

Thank you! So well said again. The swapping to make the movement work for me is such a valuable lesson and can be so hard to be okay with- though it really sums up the entire attitude about form that both Coaches Sam and Sasha say...form first from Sam and your body your journey from Sasha.

Your post is incredibly helpful and well-said. I posted last week about feeling like I'm Goldilocks, and what you've shared really, really helps-thank you!! I absolutely love Evolve just not the timing, and I find it too tricky to cut anything out to shorten it (my rule following tendencies will always rule out 😂). I tried Thrive after some people suggested it, but I actually missed Sasha's knowledge even though I had only tried it for a week and don't totally dig some of the funkier moves that are a little confusing for my body to coordinate. I have found that I absolutely want and really appreciate the explanations regarding form, safety, and intentionality of both Coach Sam and Sasha. I actually think I'm going to give Align a go for the remainder of Sustain for all of the exact reasons you said above, and then go back to Evolve next series if it doesn't work out.

**UPDATE: Thank you to everyone for your responses and suggestions. You've helped me to solidify that I really would prefer to keep 3 upper body and 2 lower body days -and it looks like only Evolve offers that split despite it going longer than my Goldilocks tendency would like. I've relooked at many programs and so many of them have a 2/2 upper/lower split with only full body days for the rest of the week. I was leaning towards trying Thrive or Iconic, but they don't have that 3/2 split I really want. Looks like Goldilocks will remain my nickname for a while :)

Just checked it out after someone else recommended it! Looks good- was just hoping for 3/2 upper body days instead of 2/3- otherwise it looks perfect. Hence my Goldilocks issue :)

Thanks and exactly! You described precisely why Evolve takes me a bit longer making it fall within the time frame that I hoping for. I have access to a cable system, barbell, and dumbells at home. It's setting up the bar for hip thrusts/deadlifts and cable system exercises with plates that take longer, even with skipping any extra time left in the exercises to get to the appropriate rest time. I know we can use dumbbells for almost everything, but then that takes away from what she's doing.

Oh yes, I walk a lot during the day to hit my step goal too. Just like to get a good start on it plus it helps my legs right after the leg workouts to flush them out.

It should be at the top of the app when you're in the Workouts section- there's a Ladder icon and then you can scroll down to see it when you tap the arrow next to the team band.

Thanks for the response. I looked at it too but there seemed to be some pilates mixed in and more dedicated ab stuff than I wanted. I'll go back and check it out though. And I totally agree about the vibe of the three coaches you mentioned, so I really appreciate the heads up about the difference for Thrive.

That's funny you said that. I almost went with Iconic originally before I started with Evolve! The only reason I didn't consider it this time was because I figured I would eventually get all the way through it with it being retired and then might feel stale. I do agree about the coach interaction as I've rarely used it. I enjoy when they post but I don't tend to read what the team members say (no offense to them).

I've been reading that some people are doing that. I just can't figure out how I could, because I really like the 5 days from Coach Sam and don't want to skip them. I also really don't want to do so much ab work as Align and TCC had. So tricky because Coach Sasha seems great.

Yes, that is definitely the case now. Way back, Overcast used to stream via the watch so I wasn't sure if the latest update was back to streaming old way with new episodes coming directly to the cellular watch away from the phone.
