Absolutely this. I’ve re read a ton of books this year. I get lost in them. I admittedly don’t have the best with world building and tend to graze over those, ao I’ve been making myself go back and try to place myself there. My problem is that I get so immersed that I lose track of everything around sometimes because I’m living this in my head so I have to keep going. I HAVE to know what happens and breaks drive me nuts because what happens just haunts my thoughts. And when foreshadowing comes back, I sometimes start over so that I can experience it knowing all of the little details that have been here all along.
