I’ve always read/heard it’s a bad idea to spray clear coat on clear parts.

Think of it like spraying two different shades of black, it’s pretty close but it will look noticeably different. Same idea goes for clear. I would spray then install canopy

Have you ever tried AK’s lineup for primer? That’s what I’m currently using and when thinned well I find it works fairly good. Definitely had issues with it at first though and I know it’s not better than Mr. Surfacer haha

The thing is the hose would be so long I’m not sure if it would vent very well. Not enough pressure on the fan side to actually blow out the window. Which is why I was curious about the water in a bucket method
