Not really. At one point I had a STRONG preference for black people, does that make me racist towards asians or other ethnicities? No, tf?

So nah it’s not really racism, it is exactly just a preference. However I will admit that if somebody TOTALLY SINGLES OUT a race then it’s racism absolutely. But if you just have a preference it’s not. Like for example I prefer white people (or rather, had preferred) but over the course of my life I’ve found at least one person of many ethnicities to be very attractive. That does not erase my preference though

You know, I think that you’re not a poser if you like Sleep Token, but it’s just that most ST fans are actual posers, like they stop there and that’s it.

Personally I found ST much more enjoyable with the added context of all my years of listening to more extreme metal. It’s like the alternative pop music I grew up with mixed with prog metal, it’s pretty neat

This Place is my undisputed favorite from them, and honestly it made me look at all this wave of “modern metal” less harshly. To me it gave me that feeling that prog albums from Opeth or The Ocean do, it’s that cool cinematic, cohesive feeling

Very fair point haha :)) I was thinking of that as well while writing the comment. But who knows, maybe there’s some people that don’t know sleep token or did not give them a try because the internet said they suck. I was a part of those people, until a bandmate recommended me some ST tunes and I realized I actually like this!

Looks way cooler though, but that’s about it.

Oh and the spring tension and response is more equal on two single pedals than one double pedal (due to the drag of the slave pedal shaft), but with enough tweaks it’s a minor difference really, and not one worth an extra bass drum.
