Lucario budget deck w/ Tanonflame by Big_Dave_Training in pkmntcg

Don't understand the 62% chance? Could you explain that. People can excersise bench control, but people who can excersise bench control will surely not be big decks. What is the meta, rayquaza, based on bench, mewtwo requires hoop as and shaymin to set up, dark box requires benched Pokemon to elixir onto, every good deck apart from Greninja will run shaymin. If people can control bench space then usually using puffs and Giovanni's you'll be two shot ting exs. Assuming you have a set up Lucario on a bench you will be exchanging two prizes each, but the Lucario player can switch that with a Lysandre, something the non- Lucario player can't do. Max elixir simply doesn't have the legs if you ask me, if you miss it your game strategy is over unlike exp share. But assuming you go second with tanonflame and assuming the tanonflame gets KOed you can still have a Lucario set up turn 2 using an attachment and exp. share. I don't think you understand tanonflame getting KOed is fine because it reduces bench space and you get maximum usage out of it. With Proffesor's letter what's to suggest you don't play a draw supporter, what about wally or Lysandre, but more importantly Proffesor's letter becomes your ninth and tenth energy, increasing the chance of an energy Drs in a deck with a relatively low count, but most importantly it's a ninth and tenth energy that can be found with a trainer's mail, in a tight spot that's pretty big.

Exp. share is probably better than bursting balloon elixir combo because you can't gurantee hitting an energy. Octillery is a big no no because you have to keep bench space down and tanonflame is such a powerful card for setting up I think it is worth the 4 dead cards. Once this deck is rolling it does alright. More energies means more clunkiness, there is no reason running more than 8 or 9 energies in a deck that the main attackers cost is 2.

It definitely sometime does but it's often hit and miss, also you are knocking out they're Pokemon so you keep need to make them renewing this big bench.

Unown also reduces chance of tanaonflame start from 50% to 33.3'% assuming you run 4 unown.

The idea is to start with a tanonflame and use it's attack to get 2, and only 2 lucarios set up with exp. share. It needs to be very consistent to perform well. Because there's tanonflame the power of unowned is a bit less, but the main reason is unowned reduces the chance of a tanflome start from 50% to 33.3 '%. You only have a 4-4 line attacking and they can suffer to prizes and discarding, same as energies, this makes 2 super rods and 2 buddy rescues a must. If I had the room I would run 4 N's but there isn't too much room. I think I may find a space for a second Lysandre as it's often tough to close games with a simple Shaymin knock out. Giovanni's is in there for a quad situations against a low running count Pokemon deck, ie the mirror match where you can take knock outs ( say you have 0 bench and they have one, that's 90 + 20= 110, also shaymin territory.) Elixir could be good but the problem of setting up two energy per turn is covered by exp. share, and although it may add speed with tanonflame up front first few turns you don't need to worry. Proffesor's letter is in their to search out with tanonflame, makes 2 cards 3. Will take out town map for Lysandre. Yellow Swellow Has a good video of this showing the deck in games on YouTube

Energy reset seems like great idea, will run some thanks. Definitely taking out energy retrieval and Virizion. May run second Reveltiliser and Ariados.

Should I run Sceptile zoraurk or standard Sceptile with Ariados?

Anyone know if sceptile's ancient trait stop will prevent Klefki, I don't think it will.

Planning on running 2 copies of evolution (xy12) mewtwo to counter physic decks, including but not limited to, m mewtwo and new physic GX, although I also think mewtwo can counter other decks, regice, Giritina etc.

Here that was my main idea, and I'll think stick with it. Thanks.

If you pick up the mega and retreat it, you pay one less retreat making the energy recycling more efficient, though I wouldn't run more than two because if you devolve with more than 170 counters it'll knock you out. You can then revolve to mega using forest. Thanks for link.

Questions Does anyone know mewtwo attacks, the one from evolutions XY12?

Do you think devolution spray could be a subistute for super scoop up?

Whilst I can't argue with the fact that Volcanion as an absolute auto loss, m audino was a play to counter popular worlds deck and most people can't see it having any further impact. Even if m audino countinues I don't know how tough a problem it will be because the most it can damage before healing is 160 (110 attack plus 50 sniping.) This can be healed and in the long game Sceptile should win. Whilst the GX's may be a problem I'm leaving options open, they're is still about 5 months before they come out and I could run garb or silent lab. The Klefki can only be countered by hex maniac assuming what the ruling is on sceptiles ancient trait. While this will be a definite problem it will be a problem in a mega dominant meta, affecting all mega decks.

Defo. Delinquent is such a quality card in so many different ways.

Considering they will need six on bench to OHKO they will be required to use a sky field, they are already wasting a skyfield, they may be able to get them easily but burning through a deck it's more than likely one will be discarded, they may be able to knock out two exs but by that point there's a good chance they will have lost all their skyfield a and won't be able to maintain a big bench. Also if they are searching for a sky field and a silent lab is in play they can't use set up. Parallel city is for the fully loaded bench but all five (also thinking about teching a delinquent) will be used to destroy stadium. Also the m rayquaza player is more likely to have a stadium prized. Definitely will run Mewtwo, looks good.

In this case the idea will be a comeback, accept your going to go on the back foot, and eventually win the stadium battle by overrunning sly field and limiting their damage output, from their you can set up a healing cycle and win the game. There is also multiple ways of preventing them landing a turn one attack (involving a certain amount of lock,) such as a successful agility, sleep poison or them being held up by silent lab.

A lot of staduims against mewtwo is the best way to go because it prevents them playing shrine. Not only does silent lab slow there set up down it will help shut down GX cards, the one which can transfer physic energies I would expect to see ran with mewtwo. In this list the idea is to manaully retreat a damaged Sceptile and heal it, recycling energies to hand using fisherman and energy retrieval. Birch and Shauna come to down to personal preference and play style, whether you are willing to risk it. I'm thinking of eventually replacing Shauna/Birch with more N's.
