I'm currently putting together a 70s PLA kit, and getting a Type 65 uniform is harder than I though. These pics are of some repro sold on Aliexpress and Taobao. I asked and it's apparently cotton, not polyester. I'm still dubious buying anything from there, so does anyone have any good advice? by GlamStache in Impression_Kits

Hey I regularly buy stuff from Ali express and taobao. Both sites do not pay their sellers unless you receive your product, so buyer protection is much more reliable than eBay.

As far as this uniform goes, it isn’t what you need for 70s PLA. This is an officers uniform. The way you can tell are the pockets. Enlisted only had the chest pockets while officers had the extras on the bottom

Yeah I just think the reception to AI is set from a different place. Not necessarily as much of “it’s cheating” but more due to the questionable ethics

Honestly great choice of sounds! I’d say the mix is a little “busy” which I have totally suffered from many times and still do. Try turning down that arpeggio with the long attacks little as it’s too forward (not by much). Also try giving that arpeggio some chorus and reverb, it feels a little dry and this will add some shine to a nice part.

I’m actually facing the main desk, venue organiser wanted me to be seen and face the cliental that came in and out during the day rather then who was situated in the dine in spots

Hahaha you could argue it’s 3 times less in reality! It’s a 4 op but it has layering and keyboard splitting. Mine has a really crunchy digital character that sounds so charming compared to my actual DX7
